Delicious steaks & ribs! Not as seasoned as we’re used to, coming from the south, but still yummy. The steaks had a delicious wood smoke taste and were cooked as requested. The cheese balls are a LOT of cheese. Service was on point, friendly and helpful.

Lost a first time customer over a split plate charge when two people was ordering two separate FULL meals. We wasted an hour of our time and left upset because that’s ridiculous over a stupid salad. I thought it was my side. No where was we told or does it say on the menu that the salad was unlimited. Don’t see anywhere where there is a split plate charge or that the salad is unlimited. He said it comes out family style. Ok what if I’m one person ordering the steak special? Is it still coming out family style? If it’s coming out family style that means to share? But then charge me for sharing? Nothing was said unlimited not a word until we are being charged. Then he said it’s for bringing a bowl. We didn’t ask for extra plates or bowls. Absolutely ridiculous! Was so excited to try this place.

It was very busy despite that they got us seated quickly, our server took our order by memory (impressive), she did forget our appetizer but we decided we didn’t want it anyway lol, the food was cooked to perfection, and our server was amazing! The only thing I miss is that you don’t have peanuts to munch on and the paper table tops to draw on (servers used to write their names on) we’re no longer there. Otherwise it was great! It was my son’s birthday and he got the 24oz (I think) steak I got a cheaper steak and it was still very good!!

We went out to eat here on Jan 5, 2025 around 4pm. Our waitress was Kathryn she was so nice and very attentive (but not to much).
My daughter and my husbands steak was cooked perfectly and super tender.
I got the southwest chicken breast and it was so good, I loved the sauce and onions on top.
We did order a lot of appetizers and they were all so good.
We will definitely be back here again

Food (4/5): We ordered several apps and six meals. The favorite meal was the pork chop, which was one of the best, if not, the best pork chop I’ve ever had. My ten year old daughter loved her Mac-n-cheese bites. I ordered a cheeseburger and thought the cheese was low quality and the burger was ok. Both my dad and brother ordered ribs and thought they were tough and not soft. We ordered the loaded potato skins and half a stack of onion rings for an appetizer. The potato skins were some of the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend! The salad and rolls that come with the meal were good but the salad had too much dressing on the salad, they really need to decrease the amount of dressing and offer to put it on the side.
Atmosphere (4/5): it’s a nice venue but we sat in a section with no natural light. It would be nice to have natural light. It feels like it may need a deep clean as well.
Service (5/5): our waitress, Gabriella, was one of the best servers I’ve ever had! She was so kind, happy, attentive and always checking in with us! I gave her a tip to reflect her amazing personality and service! Ask for her as your waitress!

We made reservations in advance for 10 people and still had a wait a half hour upon arriving. Our Stakes were very tuff and overly cooked as well as the rolls. They brought our entrees out one minute after bringing our salads out so there was no room on the table. Our main waitress was good. Called the restaurant to make a complaint, the lady on the phone said that I would get a call back and it’s been a week now and nobody has called. We we’re very disappointed, this was our first and last time there.

This was my very first time dining at The Brown Derby and let me tell you, it absolutely did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the service and atmosphere were top-tier. Our server, Brandi, was outstanding — super polite, friendly, and completely on top of everything. She made sure we had everything we needed the entire time and truly made our first visit special.
We ordered two cowboy steaks, and I can honestly say they were the best steaks I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and that chef deserves serious recognition for their work — truly phenomenal!
And don’t even get me started on the salads — if you go, make sure you ask for Haylee to make yours! She makes the best salads ever, fresh, delicious, and exactly how you want them.
Overall, this place exceeded every expectation. Amazing food, incredible service, and a great atmosphere. We will DEFINITELY be back!

I do not recommend the cowboy steak. It was a horrible grade of beef. All the onions and mushrooms in the world can’t cover that up. The wings and surprisingly the iceberg lettuce salad were the highlights of the meal. Staff was fine the host appeared to hate her job or maybe it was me she didn’t care for. Never made eye contact she mumbled something as we were seated. Maybe she was trying to tell me don’t order the cowboy steak.

I’ve been coming here for more than 20 years and the quality has just gone down. Went in about a month ago and one of the three steaks ordered was served rare when ordered medium well. Went in tonight and was served a warm been in a cold glass making it about room temperature so I sent it back. My steak was fine but my girlfriends was ordered medium and came out rarer than my steak that I ordered rare. No cheese on the potatoes as we ordered then was charged for the warm beer anyway.
I really loved this place and the prices are good but it’s hard to justify going back again when it is more than likely the order will be wrong.

Fun rustic atmosphere. My steak was ordered medium but came to the table medium well. The flavor of the steak was fantastic, which redeemed it being overcooked.
My server was very nice and helpful.
My rice wasn’t overly hot, but the flavor was good.
I’d return for a steak.
