This was a 10/10 experience for our family of 11 – from 10 mo old to the age of 78 – everyone enjoyed the jazz trio that played the whole time during our jazz brunch at 10am on a Friday. We all tried the different eggs benedict options, however the standouts were the turkey duck sausage gumbo and the chicken and waffles. The wait staff was very attentive and the chef came out to our table to talk about the gumbo. My favorite was when the trio went around the diningroom and they played “going to the chapel” at a bridal luncheon party and then came to our table and played “what a wonderful world”. They even asked the kids to come try out the base. I would definitely do this again!

Our dinner at Broussard’s was absolutely fantastic and captured the very best of New Orleans. The food was so great, with every dish hitting the mark for flavor and quality, but the experience went far beyond just the meal. Our waiter was incredibly nice and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. To top it all off, the live jazz was awesome, providing the perfect soundtrack to a wonderful night in the French Quarter. We couldn’t have asked for a better combination of excellent service, delicious Creole cuisine, and authentic local music!

We had such a wonderful time post engagement at brunch! We were serenaded by live jazz music that worked their way round the restaurant so that each table got to experience a personalised set. Our server Monique was a gem! She was so knowledgable and kind, and could not do more for us to make us have the best time. Food was also incredible, we had the Camembert and cornbread appetisers and the chicken and waffle entrée which were soooo good! 10/10 will definitely be back!

Literally 50 steps off Bourbon street.

The interior atmosphere and ambience cannot be beat.

We sat in the courtyard and it was really nice.

We had an incident where the 4 drinks for our party was not well done. We complained and the manager fixed that by making 4 old fashions on the spot. Kudos for exemplary service and focus on clientele satisfaction.

I had the duck and it was good. Meat was done correctly and sauce was right.

Broussard’s was a very interesting experience.

It’s a very fancy looking restaurant, and it’s not a walk-in, walk-out situation.

We were a large group (13) and so of course was had reservations. The food looked very delicious, but at this point, I didn’t want to order anything. They had bottomless mimosas ($22.00) and a few (expensive) appetizers. See the image of the menu below for more options if you’re wondering what they have.

I did LOVE the live music. The band was incredible and they came up to our table playing the songs we requested, absolutely loved them!

1st time in New Orleans. Brussard’s is legendary, unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. We had the jazz brunch sans the jazz. We were serenaded for a couple of songs and that was it. Service was great. Lovely server and we did not feel rushed. Cocktails were superb. Lunch was good but under seasoned and we had the worst coffee of our lives. Lukewarm and bitter as an ex-wife with no prenuptial.
I’m not saying don’t try this restaurant…just go knowing it might not be “all that” and a bag of chips.

Was incredibly excited to come here! The venue is gorgeous, not to mention the jazz band walking around playing was an excellent touch that set the vibe oh so right. But all of that is for naught when the food wasn’t good. Deviled eggs tasted super salty. Oysters tasted… off. I felt like I was the only one and then spoke to the others in my group and they weren’t impressed with their meals either. Most of us left without finishing our meals and ate again shortly later, elsewhere.

It was okay. It took a while to get our entrees. And we had to wait on getting silverware when we got our food. But I really enjoyed the cornbread, the shrimp and grits and oysters!

We came for Thanksgiving dinner. We had the pork chop with kale and sweet potatoes and the herbed turkey with garlic mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce, and green bean casserole. Everything was so amazing and generosly portioned for the price. Highly recommend!

Great place just over 100 years old.
We went for the Sunday brunch so we had endless mimosas !!!
The fried oysters with creamed spinach and bacon were great. The corn bread and the baked Camembert were really good also.
For entree I tried the Josephine poached eggs, instead of the English muffin of a regular Benedict eggs they came with an amazing crab cake. I highly suggest them.
