I have been in Georgetown for years and never heard of Broussard’s Delta Kitchen until this month. One of my friends posted a picture of their food and I was sold. All of the food that I have seen, especially the desserts, look delicious. I ended up ordering Granny Broussard’s Prized Meatloaf, and my wife ordered Miss Violet’s Famous Pot Roast. My wife loved her meal but I was not a big fan of the mushroom sauce served on the meatloaf. Other than the sauce, the meatloaf and potatoes tasted great. Also, they do serve dinner rolls upon request, so make sure to ask! While the dinner was great, the desserts and service were definitely the highlight of our meal. Our waitress Angie was phenomenal. Our glasses were never empty and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. For dessert, we ordered the Banana Foster Cheesecake and White Chocolate Bread Pudding. My wife said that the cheesecake is one of her all-time favorite desserts and I really enjoyed the bread pudding as well. I don’t know how we went so long without knowing this restaurant was downtown, but we will definitely be back!

We arrived at 6:45 with a line out the door. We were still seated right away (dining room is large with lots of seating). The many servers were super busy, but ours buzzed by our table nonetheless and said she’d be right back to take our order (I hadn’t even sat down yet). The menu was large, but not overwhelming. Our server returned shortly to get drinks and appetizers, which arrived quickly. We noticed that she took our order on a hand held digital device. We assumed this led straight to the kitchen and saved her time, steps to and from the kitchen (or order entry station) and allowed the cook to receive and start on order sooner. Our food arrived within 10 minutes after order and it was impeccable. We ordered the shrimp and crawfish Etouffee, Creole fried chicken and shrimp, and the catfish platter. Everything was delicious and beautiful. After dinner, they brought a large dessert platter out with 6-7 options of cheesecake, German chocolate cake, peanut butter pie, orange layer cake and a few other options. We took two to go .
All said, we were in and out in under 40 minutes for a delicious, high quality meal. Service was exceptional. We will be back!

Enjoyed a nice lunch while visiting family in Georgetown. The food was good for the most part. French dip and bacon wrapped tenderloin were delicious. Fried chicken was flavorful but chewy. Portions small. Our server was new but did a fair job. Would recommend and will be back!

Been here before on a previous trip to Kentucky. It’s got a nice selection of appetizers and entrees. Shrimp and Grits were delicious. Super friendly service (thanks Michelle).

Wow! AMAZING!!!!! The catfish po boy was phenomenal! The popcorn crawfish was perfect! But the absolute highlight was the bread pudding! This is the best I’ve ever had. When it was brought out the desert was steaming hot. The smell was as good as the taste! The restaurant itself is very clean and had a very unique atmosphere. I also enjoyed the original artwork they have on display. An all around awesome experience! If you’re in the Georgetown area do yourself a favor and check them out. You will not be disappointed!

Those looking for a unique and delicious dinner with fantastic table service need look no further. I’ve eaten at Broussards many times now and can attest that all of their food is amazing! The staff is friendly and very professional. This is the perfect location for casual dinners and special day celebrations alike!

Food was very good. Loved the fried deviled eggs. The 9 cheese mack and cheese is very good too. I had the special New York Strip and potatoes. Wow. The steak and sauce on top was incredible. If we weren’t from out of state we would definitely make this place a regular.

Went for lunch, late lunch really at 3:45… No appetizers to order on the “lunch menu”… They overcharged 3$ on one sandwich and overcharged on another when we got the bill ( the owner was very nice and came over and apologized and explained what happened )…. Waiter only had 2 tables including us and water sat empty, wouldn’t let us box our own food which was odd and the bill came with one receipt ticket so nothing to use for taxes… Growing pains I guess so hopefully next trip they’ll get some stuff figured out… Dinner menu looks great though!!!
5/2019… Ordered some take out to try the dinner menu, meatloaf and the $28 spicy pasta and seafood dish, both were pretty good! The garlic mashed are good and the squash n veggies side were great… Decent amount of seafood in the pasta dish and the sauce was very good, portion was a little small and only came with 1 side which didn’t make much sense…. After these meals though I’ll have to raise my rating to a 4 star because the food was pretty darn good

Tried Broussards for the 1st time yesterday with a buddy and will definitely go again. Gator bites were a perfect appetizer. We had french dip sandwich, shrimp etouffee and the gumbo. All were very good but the etouffee was by far my favorite. Order a togo of it so my wife could try it and she loved it also.
