I would have given this a lower rating just because of how the dining experience started, but our waiter Nas made up for any and all errors made by host staff. We had a reservation and arrived five minutes early. It took us fifteen minutes to be seated and the manager was clearly interfering in a condescending and nasty way with the hostess staff. When we finally got seated, we waited 15 more minutes and no one greeted our table. I finally got up and found the manager to let her know and she promptly came and took our drink order and asked Nas to serve our table.
He made excellent recommendations, was knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, engaging, attentive, and kind. He is hands down one of the best waiters I have ever been served by. I asked him to surprise me with my entree and he made a great choice. My partner ordered king crab legs. Very expensive, but very good and well presented. The hot crab dip with crostini (also recommended by Nas) was wonderful as well. Highly recommend! Ask for Nas, you won’t be sorry!

If you want the freshest seafood in Destin, go catch it yourself and bring it to Brotula’s Seafood House & Steamer! We spent 6 hours out on the charter boat Done Deal catching red snapper and brought our haul straight to the restaurant for their Hook & Cook service.
The chef prepared our catch “The Chef’s Way,” and it was absolutely incredible. We got to try our snapper three ways:
* Blackened: Perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of kick.
* Grilled: Fresh and light, letting the natural flavor of the fish shine.
* Fried: Crispy, golden, and delicious.
Pro-Tip: During the busy summer months, we highly recommend sitting at the bar. It allows for much faster service while still getting to enjoy the full experience and choosing your favorite sides to go with the fish.
It’s such a cool experience to see your day’s work turned into a gourmet meal. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere on the harbor is unbeatable. If you’re doing a charter in Destin, this is the place to go to eat your catch!

Good food, amazing staff, amazing views. No wait on valentines night around 4:30pm. Staff was all helpful and so sweet but Mason was wonderful and helped up decide what to get! There is a 20% service charge but from that a majority goes to your server so it will cover the tip unless you choose to give more so no problem.

Service was great we were running behind and we called to ask for more time and Chris was so nice and gave us 30 more minutes. We had a lil bit of a wait but nothing outrages. Our server, Clint, was welcoming and patient with us. I ordered the hot crab dip and has no signs of crab meat. It’s like a whipped cheese spread with finely shredded crab meat and the toasted crositinis paired great with it. I will give the dip a 3 out of 10 only because the dip had a good flavor but WHERE IS THE LUMPS OF CRAB?
My entrée was the fried combo. The shrimp and fries were delicious. I didn’t care for the Mahi Mahi but that’s not my favorite fish anyway but I will say if you like that type of fish you’ll love this entrée. Oh and they give you a plentiful portions. My drink was tequila sunrises and they were amazing. Go check this place out the outdoor setting is definitely a vibe.

Amazingggg food and even better service! TJ was absolutely amazing with his recommendations and always made sure we had everything we need! And he had the best energy 🙂 We got the crab dip, crab stuffed oysters, seafood boil (the cajun is a must) and the shrimp and grits – it will have you coming back for more! 11/10 experience and meal!

Not a normal menu review, because it’s their special Thanksgiving buffet I am reviewing. 1. I would never sit anywhere else other than the deck, and if you can, make it in time for sunset!! 2. You must sit at one of Nos’ tables! He made our Thanksgiving ❤️ 3. Everything was very good. The bisque, shrimp and grits, and shrimp were excellent. 4. Service was beyond exceptional!! Nos was exceptional. We would go back just to hang out with him

First time here. Loved the atmosphere and the food. Our server, Gregg, was great. He was very kind and very knowledgeable on the food items. Made it easy to pick our food. We had one of the broils and it was excellent. Overall a great experience and will be going back soon.

The four of us had a lovely dinner at Brotula’s last night, it was incredibly filling and flavorful! We left with full bellies and joy in our hearts. Our server Morgen was absolutely amazing! She asked if it was our first time with them and proceeded to walk us through the drinks and menu items. This place offers outdoor seating to watch the sunset and is close to the boardwalk as well. The food is amazing and the brussel sprouts are to die for.
Out of the all the restaurants we ate at this week, this was a little in the pricey end. There is a harbor fee and they do add a 20% gratuity which we were aware of.
