Brother’s Trattoria Pawling N.Y. If Your ever in Pawling N.Y. try this quaint restaurant. The Ceasar salad crisp and delicious and well balanced dressing. The penne vodka with grilled chicken was wonderful, the acidity was well balanced, grilled chicken was tender and delicious, sauce was well balanced and seasoned well. Also stuffed manicotta was deliciously stuffed with ricotta and marinara sauce was well balanced.
If your in the area your palette won’t disappoint if you decide to stop by, they also serve pizza to go orders.

We ate at Brother’s for the first time yesterday. It was early afternoon and not busy yet and the chef was our server. The food was delicious. Some of the best Italian we’ve had. The chef was very hospitable and friendly. A great experience. Wish we lived closer!!

Service was HORRIBLE. Waited almost 1 hour for appetizers and another hour for entrees. The clams oreganoto was served with cold sauce and barely warm clams. 2 clam shells were broken and served that way. I sent it back and it was reserved after a trip to the microwave. Clam shells still broken. (could have swallowed a clam shell shard). The sauces were thin and watery. Take out orders and catering were WAY MORE important. The one good thing is they took alot of money off the bill. Will NEVER EVER go back.

I’ve been here a few times for dinner. It is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. The food is always very good. The service is excellent. The staff is always polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend eating here if in the area.

Very expensive for mediocre take out. I felt very price gouged for simple shrimp parmesan that seemed preheated straight out the box. Maybe the food distributor charges extra to deliver upstatish, but that same dish costs about a third everywhere else NY. Like from Montauk Point to Buffalo and all the quant little towns in between. E.g. Tuxedo, Hamptons, NYC boroughs, etc..

Would totally make the 1 hour drive to eat the cavatelli alla duresa again!
The warm, soft bread with the oil dip with olives was a nice start. But the pasta! Uff, it was so creamy and flavorful without any cream and just a handful of ingredients, and the pasta shape was *perfect* to cradle all that good sauce. The waiter was friendly and informative, the place was clean, and I appreciated not being seated so close to other tables. I wish I lived closer so I’d be able to try something new more often but I guess for now I’ll just have to imagine all the other plates tasting just as good as the cavatelli I had, and the spinach ravioli the bf had.

The writer was very charming and nice and had good suggestions for food. The host was nice and checked up on us. The ravioli was amazing. The chicken Alfredo with breaded Cajun chicken wa as the best fettuccine Alfredo I have ever had and I’m from Brooklyn, NY. This will be a place I go to many times in the summer, as I spend many weekends up here.

Pizza to go only. You can’t have pizza in the dining room. Pizza is outstanding. Too bad we can’t have it there along with the rest of the menu. It seems like it’s about to close due to the lack of menus available and the fact that the menu was poorly stapled. Best pizza !

Been here often, always great food and service. You can cut the veal with a fork, it’s one of my favorites.
