Recommended by Spotted Octopus brewery and a short walk. Take the walk you’ll need it after the huge portions. The food is soul or southern comfort and delicious. We had the meatloaf, curry chicken, the Ruben and fried chicken. The collard greens so yummy. You can tell the chef takes lots of pride in their creations. Can’t wait to go back.

I was so excited to finally get some soul food in Buffalo! Mind you, I’m from Florida and know what good soul food is. Unfortunately, I was terribly disappointed. The food was barely palatable. It looked delicious but the taste was just not there…..at all! I hate writing bad reviews, but I have to be honest. It’s only right. The fried chicken was over cooked in old grease. They doused it in pepper, which was all I could taste besides the horrible oil. 0/10, would not recommend. The Mac and cheese was equally disgusting. And the candy yams had way too much allspice and cinnamon, not enough sugar. I’m so disappointed and hungry. I don’t know if this is normal for the area but this restaurant gets a hard pass for me. I hope if you decide to patronize this restaurant your food is at least decent. Written by a hungry, disappointed Floridian lol.

This spot is a definite spot in Buffalo to hit up! It’s clean and spacious. The menu is great if you want comfort food. We were a party of 8 so we each had a bit of everything but we started with the appetizers (no pics tho) of the Buffalo chicken dip (yum), jerk chicken nachos (slapping) and the jerk chicken egg rolls with a sweet chutney sauce (good also)! Our server was great…showed patience and was pleasant. Came and checked on us periodically and kept our “Logan berry” glasses full! Lol! (Sorry I totally forgot her name but she was a sweetheart) The oxtails we’re kind of too big for my taste but seasoned well, the cabbage could have been less spicy and the greens just missed the mark for us! The yams were great I will say tho because a lot of places mess those up on a daily but not here! YES! The ones who had fried chicken enjoyed it immensely and the seafood platter seemed to be a bit with the person who ordered that as well! Overall we had a good time and the food was good! Will definitely make my way there again when back in town!

Was in the mood for some good food. Heard a lot of good things about this place. Stopped by for dinner with my girls. For starters, we ordered a platter with egg rolls and chicken fingers. I absolutely fell in love with the soul egg rolls. Taste like a soul food Thanksgiving dinner all in one bite . I had the honor of ordering the oxtail dinner with cabbage and yams. That also was very good. I would must definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat some food that is satisfying to the soul.

Food was awful. I threw it in the garbage. The baked chicken was gross with no skin. The macaroni tasted dry and old. The yams were dry and had too much spice and not sweet enough. Very disappointed.

This place definitely hits the spot. The food was delicious. I was missing home (NYC) because I hadn’t had any good food since being in Buffalo. Someone recommended this place and I was not disappointed! The coconut shrimp, wings, Mac and cheese and the fried lobster were amazing. Plus the drinks were great too!

I ordered the chicken and waffles and they were spectacular! The perfect combination of savory and sweet. My husband had the corned beef on rye and he loved it. We also shared a side of collard greens, which were so salty and good. We placed an order online and it was finished when we got there 35 minutes later. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

We thought we’d give this place a try as it came up when I googled “restaurants near Roswell”. So glad we did. Food was excellent! Jerk chicken egg rolls were unique & delicious….recommended by the waitress. She also recommended the fried lobster…..was skeptical….but delicious! So good! Chicken curry, oxtails & all the sides were delicious as well! We’d definitely go back!

My wife and I ended up here because we were at Town Ballroom for a show, had some time to kill, and were in the mood for some good wings.
Dinosaur BBQ is right there, of course, and their wings aren’t bad, but it’s not a place we would go to for “good wings,” you know?
We also decided it would take too long to walk to Gabe’s Gate and back before the show, especially when accounting for the time it would take to sit down and eat.
I hopped on Yelp and we discovered Brothers. I haven’t read the reviews that prevent this place from getting a perfect 5 stars and I don’t care what they say. Our experience left us wanting to come back before we even saw our food.
From the moment we walked in, the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, leading us to a seat right away with smiles on their faces.
When it was time to order, my wife and I disagreed on wing flavors. She wanted lemon pepper, I wanted honey cajun. We asked for a single order of each. Our server then suggested we combine them into one double order. This surprised us. Most servers at other restaurants would happily charge for two singles when you’re ordering different flavors, but here she was saving us a few bucks just because she could.
As we waited for our food, we admired the surroundings. The vibes and decor spoke to elegance and sophistication, but also simple, laid back, and relaxed. You want to go out for a nice dinner with great food, but don’t want to have to dress up for fear of being judged? This place is a great candidate.
As for our wings, they were great. This place landed on our list of restaurants to get back to as soon as we took our first bite. Unfortunately, we had to box up half of them and bounce in a rush for our show, but we’re definitely coming back here.
When we return with more time to spare, we plan to try some of their entrees, like shrimp & grits and/or Cajun jambalaya. As BIG fans of New Orleans and NOLA cuisine, we can’t wait.
