I knew from the moment I stepped into this restaurant it was going to be awesome. The air was smoky, the food smelt incredible and the atmosphere was lively.
We cooked the meat at the table on coal, and there were heaps of complimentary sides that were amazing. Everything was delicious, I can’t wait to go back!

We got the tasting menu for 2. Perfect portion size and really good quality meat. The spicy tofu soup and the spicy pork were a standout. The wood used in the barbeque is also excellent. Amazing staff and amazing service.

A great Korean restaurant in the city! They make their own fermented soy bean, so their stew is amazing. The best quality marinated KBBQ place I’ve been to around town! Owner is also super friendly.

It had been a while since I had Korean BBQ, so I was really looking forward to it. This was my second time at this place, and the food was just as good as I remembered. We got the two-person tasting menu, plus the Korean corn cheese and steamed egg. The ribeye was super tasty—especially wrapped in lettuce with all the side dishes. The corn cheese and steamed egg were pretty good too. The vibe was nice and laid-back. We showed up a little after 5 PM and it wasn’t busy at all. The staff was super friendly, and overall it was a great experience. I’d definitely come back, especially with a bigger group next time.

It’s been many years (decade?) since I’ve been back to this San Francisco fixture. All far as I can tell, nothing has changed. Food is still ok. What sets them apart is that they still use wood for the BBQ at your table. Do be aware that it’s extremely smoky during dinner and can get very loud as well.

Food and service were amazing. Had the chicken and steak which comes with many sides and last night free soup. True bbq wood brought to the table ready to go or you can have them cook in the kitchen instead but that takes away from the experience in my opinion. Being a jacket can be chilly and you will smell like smoke upon leaving but the experience is well worth it

Food was so good!! I always love cooking the meat at the table and there was so much! Great dinner idea for friends. Only ding was it does get a bit smoky so don’t wear anything you can’t wash!

Enjoyed cooking our own meet. 🙂 The seasonings were good, and we liked the tofu soup, as well as sides. Didn’t realize this place had been here since the 80’s. We will likely come back.

Best Korean BBQ my family has had. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Tofu soup was delicious and enlightening- we never knew tofu could taste so good. No loud music was a plus for us.
