Ugh I tried to give this place multiple chances but each time it’s just worse unfortunately. Placed an order over the phone for one fried Tasso and one griot. About 35 minutes later I went to pick up the order the cashier says we don’t have any griot. No apology or nothing. The person taking the order over the phone should’ve stated that first or give a call back to see if I wanted another option. So the person I order the griot for just says it’s ok they’ll take a banan and Tasso as well which both came to like almost $55. Banan clearly was from night before, it was hard, stale and the color was dark. The Tasso was nothing but bones, salty and what made it worse they mixed pieces of pork and then simmered spicy sauce and onions over the meat. I thought there was no griot?? That sauce should be placed on the side so that the customer can decide if they want sauce on their meat because I don’t like spicy food. Plus why is sauce being poured on fritay?? They did this the last time I ordered, pouring the sauce over the meat so they could mask the “pee” smell from their pork because it wasn’t fresh. This time is my last visit, the prices get higher as the quantity and quality of the food goes lower and not edible. Almost $30 a plate and they don’t even give dressing for the salad. People work hard for their money at least make the food right. Just shut the place down and try again.

This place is a hit or miss, mostly miss… Some days the food is good and fresh and most of the time especially recently, they’ll be lazy and serve you leftovers that are clearly old. So sad because It’s hard to find consistent quality Haitian food in this area. Also, most of the time they have no menu on DoorDash ready or they are randomly closed on it for some reason. If there’s a new Haitian spot that decides to open in the area and is consistent and values customer service, most of these places will go out of business VERY quickly.

Cafe Kreol is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels welcoming and full of culture, and the service is genuinely kind and attentive. The food is packed with flavor—fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. Every bite tastes like comfort and quality at the same time. Portions are generous, presentation is on point, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. If you want authentic, delicious Haitian/Caribbean-style food with great hospitality, Cafe Kreol is the place. I’ll definitely be back—this is a new favorite.

After my sister graduation, I went there. Despite the short notice, yet they were ready for us. The customer service was outstanding, and the food was great. I will surely return because I love the appetizer. I really enjoyed the mango juice, so please try it.

We had delicious take out. So happy to have found this place. Excellent sauce (“Sos”). We tried something new: pate kode poulet. Fried pork and fried chicken were tasty!

Very nice, nicely décor the hostess was really nice.
The food was tasty came out nice and hot and fresh. The only suggestion is to lower the volume of the music.. Although there wasn’t a lot of people in the restaurant during that time.
It just made it hard to talk with the person sitting and across from me.

Went here today to pick up a plate to take home for my man and got a side of rice & beans for myself and it was so good. Glad to have discovered a new Haitian spot.

I bought a food , they didn’t give me the beans sauce. This is so disrespectful. I paid 18$ something. They didn’t give me the beans sauce. I had to throw away the food. It’s not supposed to be like that.

Just ordered 2 pate kode, side order of Akra and a mango juice. The chicken in the pate tasted rotten and it literally was the worse pate I’ve ever tasted. Had to trash it. The juice is clearly cheap mango flavored powder. What a waste of my hard earned money! Never again!
