The absolute worst barbecue I’ve ever had. Everything was cold. They said they had fries but gave me tater logs instead. The bun wasn’t toasted, and the barbecue sauce tasted like straight molasses — way too sweet. One bite and it went in the trash, and I feel sick to my stomach. I don’t understand the positive reviews.

My first time trying this place after hearing about it from my co-workers. This was absolutely THE BEST barbecue I’ve had. The smoked turkey was amazing and so moist and flavorful that I had to buy 2 pounds to take home! The pork was so good I could eat it without sauce, but don’t sleep on the spicy mustard sauce. It was delicious! Super friendly folks from start to finish. We WILL be back on repeat!

The food is excellent! My favorite is the pulled pork. It is seasoned to perfection. No BBQ sauce needed! The smoked turkey and ham are both delicious. You can’t go wrong here! It’s a must-try if you are in the area!

This bbq place is everything you want from a hole in the wall kinda joint! The meat is smoked over real wood, not a pellet or water “smoker”. The sides were all homemade and absolutely delicious!
Ribs were done perfectly
Pulled pork was done perfectly
Even the damn sweet tea was done perfectly
Well worth the drive up from Montgomery, and beats the hell outta everything round here! (We got it to go, and the above holds true)

See this building? Google Brothers Bootleg BBQ in Tallasee Alabama…and GO EAT!!! Note their hours. I love pulled pork and brisket, and I know this is as good as it gets. The side are all made in-house too, and are aimed to please. This place delivers in top-notch culinary fashion. End of story.

You know those hole in the wall places that you find and just know are going to be good? This was one of them! We got ribs, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and campfire stew and it was all good. Ribs had a very nice smokey flavor and were not overly seasoned! Pulled pork was tender and juicy! The mac and cheese was thick and cheesy and the campfire stew was smokey, sweet and a little spicy. The sauces complimented the meats very well. One of the better BBQ’s I’ve been to and the cost wasnt bad at all for the amount of food. Parking might be a little of a hassle, but is worth it for the food! Definitely will be back for more!

I came here on a trip from California in September of 2024. My aunt recommended this place and we absolutely loved it. I’ve been in California for almost 10 years now and this was the first time I’ve had true southern food in such a long time. The waitress and cooks were amazing. I still have their cup in my cabinet. The next time I make the drive from Stockton, California to Valley, Alabama I will definitely be coming back. Food was amazing and we’ve told so many people on the west coast and given recommendations for this restaurant ❤️

My favorite is the BBQ chicken and baked beans!!! It is hard to please my husband when it comes to BBQ but when he tasted those ribs ,he was completely speechless and that’s a first. He enjoyed the ribs!!!! The meat fell off the bones.
