First time visit, it was great! Our server, Ashley was awesome! She explained the menu and helped us with the popular items. We got the Asada Burrito (steak) and Burrito Mexicana (shrimp) and split them, so good. The rice was perfectly cooked, not dry or mushy. They have a salsa bar, be sure to visit it. We also got the fried ice cream. Great place to enjoy good food. Check them out. Oh yeah, don’t sit on Fernando!

We had a pleasant dining experience. We were seated quickly and the servers were very attentive to all of our needs. I’m not a big fan of bean dip in general, but my husband and daughter were fanatical about it. The setting was pleasant and clean, including bathrooms. The food was good. The salsa bar was cute, however, I didn’t care for the taste of any of the varieties they offered… I thought it was a little bland. All in all, we enjoyed our visit and would come again.

I tried their new Molcajete dish today and it was amazing! I loved the mixture of meats they included and the fresh cheese they served with it. 10 out of 10 would recommend to those who love meat and good food! 🙂

Absolutely awful. I saw so many positive reviews so we took a chance. Never again. The food was super basic and tasted like it had detergent in it. The waitress moved like she had too many pulls on the tequila bottle. She rarely checked on us then dropped the check without even asking if we wanted anything else. So much for introducing the kids to fried ice cream. Anyways, if you want to sit at a table and be ignored and have a meal that a homeless gypsy would turn down, visit this place. For me, I would rather eat taco bell for the rest of my life. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

I needed a good quick Mexican meal yesterday and decided on Brothers and Beer in Lexington. I love Mexican but like light meat dishes best. This establishment has liquidly refied beans as a chip dip (which was good) but also has a salsa bar if you wanted something else. I ordered a chlli relleno and vegetable enchiladas which both sounded good. I missed my call on these dishes as the vegetable enchilada was sweet and didn’t have a good taste. The cheese on it and the chili relleno were too thick with thick stringiness and no flavor. The chili relleno had cheese and meat sauce inside but didn’t have a great taste either. I may have ordered the wrong things as they have a heavy meat menu that might be better. I hope the meat dishes are much tastier.

Really love this place. The staff is so friendly!! I got the jalapeño bacon fajitas and they were really good. I will say my only draw back is the portion size. While it’s plenty, their competitors give me so much food that I have lunch for the next day. The prices are about the same as other places

Stopped for lunch with 3 people. Service was excellent and anticipated your needs. I had shrimp tacos which were a bit messy but tasty. Order size is plentiful for the hungry. Chips and salsa bar along with bean was great. If you like horchata, it’s the best I’ve ever had. Worth the stop.

The food is very very good, I especially like they way they cook their chorizo. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is festive but they could continue to improve the atmosphere. It is an excellent place for a family gathering and I insist everyone try it if they havent.

A mediocre meal. Nothing was bad; it was all fair. Service was ok. Instead of salsa with their chips, they serve some sort of bean dip out of a can. Their sauce bar is minimal. We are glad we gave it a try but not the kind of experience that will bring us back. One & done.
