Really don’t know where to begin had the worst experience of my life in this place. It appeared there was a disturbance at the bar and the bouncer / bartenders obviously I have no idea how to deescalate situation. I just walked in the place had not a single cocktail. I watched their bartenders man handle a 60-year-old man who wasn’t resisting or being aggressive in any manner. The man was trying to defend himself and grabbed one of the bouncers by the throat. The man immediately released and left the bar walking outside. . at no time did he seem aggressive or non-compliant.. when the police came they asked me questions I told them what I saw told them how the staff had assaulted this older gentleman. I then watched as employees and patrons all lied to the police about how this man had acted. Seemed to be that they were making up stories as fast as they could and everybody was filming.. when I asked around they told me that this older gentleman was a former Green Bay quarterback and it seemed to me that everybody just wanted to get in on the action and become part of a viral video. What I saw that night was completely disgusting and I don’t plan on ever going to eau Claire again because of it.

This is my favorite bar on Water St, great atmosphere, fun bartenders/staff and always have a great time here. Definitely recommend. More of a college atmosphere but they cater to everybody.

Bartender was fabulous. Very friendly and attentive service. Free popcorn and great drink specials. Definitely a college bar but also very accommodating to non-college students.

By far my favorite bar in Eau Claire and specifically on water street. The staff are amazing, Frank is always super nice and friendly and even learned me and my friend’s names! Great drinks and even better prices, mug club on Wednesday and different deals during the week! Clean bathrooms, shot-ski, tables, pool table, dance floor, DJ booth, and even free popcorn (while it lasts). Highly recommend this bar, have made so many memories here.
