We ordered the Pad Krapao Nuea and the Thai fried chicken satay rice bowl, followed by the sticky spicy beef and Thai basil chicken rotis. The Pad Krapao had that classic homely feel — tasty, aromatic and comforting. The fried chicken was crisp on the outside, juicy inside and worked perfectly with the peanut sauce. The rotis were soft and flaky, with generous, well-seasoned fillings.
Service was prompt and friendly, with a check-in during the meal to make sure everything was okay — always appreciated. The restaurant has a cosy, dimly lit atmosphere which adds to the vibe, but don’t expect perfect social media lighting.
Reservations are absolutely a must — the place was busy and it’s easy to see why.
Great food, great experience, and we’ll definitely be back to work through more of the menu.
This time I booked. We had a great time. There was a lot of laughing and the food was absolutely delicious. I would have liked a duck dish on the menu, still, it was very tasty.
The service was fantastic, the vibe was perfect, and I’ll definitely go again some time soon.
The food was amazing, we had never tried Thai food before and this was one of our favourite places that we visited in Cardiff.
We need more brother Thai restaurants around the country. It was so good
Even though parking was difficult to find for longer than an hour, we definitely recommend
The atmosphere was relaxed yet full of life, with the gentle buzz of happy diners adding to the charm.
I had the Red chicken roti which was delicious. The group had other rotis but the feedback from them was that they went down well.
I had the spicy beef ricebowl (I forget what it was actually called) which was equally delicious.
All in all, for a group of 8 of us and no bad meals or experiences, this was a great place to come. I would definitely come back here.
We also had the red curry with rice and that wasn’t as nice, it fell flat. Incredibly oily due to the coconut sauce splitting and it just ended up causing this unpleasant texture.
