The waitress leaves and comes back with the cheesesteak the same one with the mushrooms and said they are making me bring it to you, I said but I don’t eat mushrooms I didn’t order that she said I know but they are making me bring it to you they aren’t listening to me, Can you tell them you don’t want it please.
So I got up and took the cheesesteak up there to the owner and I kindly said sir I didn’t order mushrooms I ordered a plain steak I don’t want this and I am not paying for something I didn’t order.
The owner then got really nasty with me he got so loud my husband had to get up and come over to see what was happening, when he seen that man get up he calmed down asap. When it was time to leave he tried to give me a 200$ bill I said dude what is wrong with you. When the original bill that the waitress brought out was 77$. Long story cut short the owner/manager of this business is a nasty mean and greedy man.
The waitress was a lovely girl who I felt really bad for she did not deserve to get treated like that no employee deserves that. Next time I will record everything cause this was terrible.
Clean environment to dine in
Hot fresh pizza
The Garlic knot is great and very garlicky indeed as should be with raw Garlic
I’ll dine here again when out here and in need of a slice or two.
Not forgetting all the pepper flakes and herb jars all filled to the top to add to your slices if needed.
They also have beers and different juices and soda at cold to enjoy of your choice with your meal.
The crust for the mushroom and meatball pie was pretty good. However, you can see that the mushrooms seem pretty underdone in the photo. I like them charged and browned, not pale. Meatballs were okay and the price was fine for the area. Also, I wouldn’t call this a Neapolitan pizza. Neapolitan is more soggy, saucy, and has a very specific definition that this clearly doesn’t meet. Mercurios is Pittsburgh is real Neapolitan. I don’t understand why they call this Neapolitan because it definitely isn’t, and they know that. 2/5
The Sicilian was decent. The portion was large and the pepperoni was pretty perfect. Not too oily, flavorful, and big. There was an ample amount of cheese. It’s bready, but that’s what I expect with Sicilian. Pretty pricy though. Overall, a 3.5/5.
I try calzones at almost every pizza place I order from. The calzone here is quite good. It’s not too bready, not too greasy, and a great size. Again, a bit pricy, but not terrible for the area. You can expect most things to be pricier here. It’s loaded with more ricotta than most places I’ve visited. Very good calzone, but the marinara sauce is only okay. 4/5
What brings this place down a bit for me is the fact that they forgot my calzone, which took about 10 minutes to remake. No big deal though. It’s clearly family own and run. Everybody is an authentic Italian! And it’s super popular with locals from what I’ve seen. My only knocks are that the prices are pretty high and the Neapolitan isn’t actually Neapolitan and overall I don’t recommend that pizza style. It would be a 4 star review if I only had the calzone. The place is good, but maybe try some other shops near it.
So a slice and a soda was over $6, so that was a bit concerning out of the gate, but I don’t just based on stuff like that solely. I enjoyed the slice. There was a nice char underneath which I love, good snap to the crust, it was nice and thin, good cheese to sauce ratio. Not much else I can really say about it other than I’m due to head back in. If you’re just looking for a slice though, Brother Bruno’s – DIdn’t Suck!
