The burgers were perfection. All the ingredients were fresh and made in-house. The service was incredible, staff friendly and attentive. We all devoured our burgers and the ordered a pizza to go for breakfast the next day. The beer menu was great and we enjoyed every minute. Get the peanut butter & bacon burger. I can’t wait to eat there again. Nice job, everyone. Delicious. Also – two lanes of ice for indoor curling??? Awesome.

Broomstack Kitchen & Taphouse is an absolute gem! The pizza and burgers are fantastic, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The curling experience was a blast, made even better by our amazing coach, Kevin, who made it fun and easy to learn. It’s such a unique and exciting activity—totally worth every penny. Whether you’re here for the food or the curling, it’s an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Stopped for lunch driving back from Glen Arbor to Traverse City and couldn’t have been happier. Terrific service. Great food and prices. Wide variety of beverages. Cheese fries were amazing with big bacon pieces. The pork tacos and Asian chicken salad were delicious.

Oh my! Such an amazing meal, in a lovely setting, served by a kind and gracious server. And I am embarrassed that we did not ask her name! She showed us the curling center, told us about the history of the place, and was just very nice! We had the Manhattan chowder, saltimbocca and a pizza. Everything was excellent. My husband said it was the best pizza he’s ever had.

Pork tacos quite flavorful but not because of the pork. Mostly, delicious tacos that happen to contain pork. Might want to consider pork sandwich for more overt pork flavor.
Cinnamon bread pudding sounds delicious but not consistently available.
Pizza is reasonably deep.
Attached curling rink makes for unexpected sport spectating.

Fun GLUTEN FREE place to eat and hang out near Cedar, Maple City, Lake Ann, Empire, and Traverse City. They have some pretty good gluten free options that are clearly marked on the menu, and our server was really knowledgeable, which I appreciated. Whatever gluten free bun option they’re using fell apart instantly when I tried to cut my sandwich in half. But hey, I appreciate the effort. I ordered one of their burgers but substituted a chicken breast for the burger patty. The potato chips they serve are also gluten free. It was a fun place, and sometime we’ll have to go back and try curling while we’re there. And I would definitely go back.

Dog friendly outside seating. Very friendly staff and a fantastic meal. The Cubano was delicious, the pork tacos were tender and full of flavor, and the peanut butter, bacon burger was unexpectedly great. The only issue was the wind and picnic-like seating which didn’t pair well with the paper plates they use outside. Still a wonderful gem close to everything.

Great little place in an old school house. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. There was a band that played all types of fun music and a GREAT draft beer list! We had a pizza and it was good. Will definitely be back sometime.

Amazing food, service and ambiance! Our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and extremely accommodating to my personal food intolerance. The kitchen as well, was very wonderful in creating an exciting meal for me. I also appreciate the fact that they focus on locally sourced ingredients and alcohol. Our whole experience was amazing, you must check out the curling rink! Wish we lived closer to come back more often.
