Love love love this place!!! Every week My sisters and I get out to enjoy the weather. Today was one of my sister Birthday so of course we had to come sit on the patio with the open bar 🙂 Food was amazing we caught happy hour too. Prices are so reasonable. Server was very sweet and helpful.

Family favorite. One of the best patios in town in my opinion and the indoor seating is great too. Tons of TVs and an quad TV array on two sides of the inside, so perfect for sports. Tuesday night music bingo was a little loud but was announced. This time around I had the Chicken Caesar wrap. I asked for no Caesar dressing, which sort of defeated the purpose, and I found it dry. I think this is because I’m used to sauce/dressing so any time I don’t use them, I think the meat is dry. Tater tots were incredibly crunchy. On previous occasions, I have had the burger and chicken tenders. They were both great! An overall 10/10 from all of my experiences so far.

Great place to watch a sports game or just grab lunch/dinner. Server was attentive, bathrooms were clean, drinks were good, and the food was great. The patio is also very nice and has several TVs to watch sports.

Brooksider Sports Bar is a solid spot for sports fans and anyone looking to enjoy a cold beer with friends. The atmosphere is relaxed, with plenty of screens to catch all the action, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It’s a great place to kick back, enjoy the game, and have a good time. Highly recommend it for a casual night out!

Overall, probably not a bad bar. It was very busy for a Mizzou alumni function, but my drink was empty far more than it had anything in it. I generally would not expect that at a bar.

Terrible handling of a lost credit card. Paid for one drink, bartender kept my card and never returned it. Manager barely bothered to look and just told me to come back the next day. I called repeatedly and went back — they still “couldn’t find it” and gave zero apology. This was my first drink of the night; the staff treated it like nothing. Very suspicious and unacceptable. Do better.

Last night, waiting at the Brooksider for our drinks to arrive, my husband and I were watching the nearest tv – I estimate there are 20-25 TVs in there, all tuned to sports channels. I noticed the program we were watching had 4 commentators, all women, talking about women’s sports – Coco Gauff and Caitlin Clark, were discussed – you’ve heard of them, yes? Our faces were turned up toward the screen, the one tv airing women’s sports, when the Channel Guide appeared on the screen and someone changed the program to men’s sports. While we were watching it. Do the math – let’s say 24 screens, all on men’s sports, and they changed the one tv from women to men sports.
I mentioned it to the server, who requested they change it back on our behalf, and it didn’t happen.
Srsly? Incidentally, a biking group I ride with eats there regularly, a big tab, did I mention regularly? More than half of the group are women. I’m guessing a third to half of the customers last night were women.
Take the remote away from the misogynist. One TV out of 25 airing a women’s sports program isn’t going to make him less manly.

Nice patio outside. Casual, chill hang-out with some decent local beers. Music-bingo trivia on Tuesday evenings. Can get loud inside with all the music & TVs. Family-friendly.

I love how much space is in this restaurant and they also have great week-day happy hour deals from 2-5! The mozzarella sticks are a 4/5 and their taco deals are great and they are good tacos! They specially made black bean tacos for me since I am a vegetarian. They have a yummy blackberry margarita on the rocks (limited to summer time and new to the menu). We also tried the street corn dip since all starters are half off during happy hour and it was delicious! I will be returning especially since the service was also good.

The brooksider has grown up in midtown to become a landmark meeting ground. Serving hungry Kansas City residents excellent bar food for several generations. Easy to find with plenty of free parking the Brooksider large menu offers something for everyone at reasonable prices. On fair weather days the ample patio will fill up fast around mealtimes but don’t worry the indoor seating is just a comfortable and huge! I always found the staff to be attentive, helpful and pleasant if you are in the mood for some of the best bar bites put this KC sports bar on your list, you wont be disappointed.
