This place is so good. From the terrific cocktails (take advantage of the stupendous Happy Hour) and bar food (the tenderloin sliders are so tasty and top quality) to dinner (the appreciation menu is THE best deal in Denver for not only price but quality and taste). I always have two meals out of my dinner and I’m a big eater for a woman. Shanahan’s used to be our go to steak place, but after some pretty bad steaks there, we’re changed to Brooks. Brooks offers high quality food and preparation, comfortable atmosphere, and friendly, efficient, professional servers. I can’t think of anything I don’t like about Brooks.

Very pleasant atmosphere and fine, thoughtful service. I had the pork chops, and I thought they were some of the best I’ve ever eaten; delightful sauce. My friend had the swordfish and liked it a lot. I had some of his dish and found it delicious. My friend is a frequent visitor (monthly) and says he likes it much more than Shanahan’s and other steakhouses in Denver. I live in the Springs but would love to take my wife there for a special occasion. Most likely will. Pricey but overall a superior experience and value.

This is one of the best restaurants in Denver, by far. It is a bit pricey, but the food is worth it. Their menu offers a wide variety of steaks and seafood. For a taste of both, try their surf and turf! Very, very good. The staff is friendly. The restaurant itself is stellar.

The owner must have literally decide not to turn down a single reservation on NYE. The hostesses basically said as much. We waited one hour and twenty minutes to be seated for a seven pm reservation. There’s a word for making a business commitment to someone which you have no intention of honoring from the outset. It’s called fraud. These sheisters ruined mine and a lot of other people’s plans for the rest of the night. All other patrons that I encountered had similar experience. The poor staff was getting some of the worst abuse I’ve ever seen from a mob of angry patrons. The poor manager was so apologetic and gave us some comps but how could I ever give those owners another dime of business? My prediction is that they’ll be gone before too long.
It seems like the ownership are trying to line their pockets as much as possible on their way out of business. I give 2 stars because once we were finally sat and got the attention of a server everything went reasonably well. The food was about what you would expect from a prime steakhouse though there was nothing standout. Even without having been fleeced by their holiday cash grab I probably wouln’t choose the place again over better options in the area such as Del Frisco’s.

I have been here 5 times and have never been disappointed. The ribeye and the porterhouse were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the six cheese mac and cheese and au gratin potatoes for sides.
The atmosphere has a very old school, high class feeling. The waiters were all very helpful and they kept the table clean at all times.
