We celebrated my cousin’s 40th here and it was a good time! The Food was 10/10! Again, the food was 10/10. GET THERE! Nice vibes, friendly staff, clean and the music was on point. We will definitely return for more gatherings here. Black owned and she was Amazing. Don’t walk, RUN!

Don’t judge a book by the outside. That’s the pure epitome of this restaurant now for the life of me. I’ve only been there once they almost accidentally gave me somebody else’s food, but when my food came, it was fire with leftovers for my kiddos when I reheated it was fire and I will be back! I hope I hope sincerely that it is just as good the second time as it was the first.

Anyone leaving a one star review is insane. I can only assume they got doordashed. Went in with my girlfriend and had amazing food, excellent service and good vibes. We got to meet the owner and she’s nothing short of a treasure. I can only hope this place sticks around, it’s the best burger I’ve had in slidell.

Went into the restaurant ordered to go, because we couldn’t find the option to order by phone or online. I should have checked the food before I left. I ordered buffalo wings, we gots ome type of sweet and spicy sauce on all the wings that were given to us. Ranch cups, both, less than half way full. I regret leaving them the small tip I did. Their menu says 8 wings as an appetizer $10× 2=$20, that’s what I originally came in for with the yakamein, I was told by the young black girl I had to order fries with each order of wings when I went into the establishment 2×17= turned a decent price for 2 people to eat into expensive for us. Take it off the menu if people can’t order it as stated. The food wasn’t worth it at all im my opinion, the wings were skimpy too, some not even whole,literally half bone drums. Ambiance great, but that’s all I have good to say unfortunately… I read all the google reviews and thought, I try to support a new black business in the neighborhood, being black myself….if I ever go again it will probably be just for drinks tbh. For the price the quality of the food and accuracy of the fulfillment of our order just didn’t hit for us.

The best southern food in town. Everything is made from scratch – taste just like my mamaw made it! There’s not a single item we’ve had that we haven’t loved. My husband and I go at least once or twice a week. The customer service is phenomenal. Great taste in music – clean & delicious!

Sunday brunch here is a whole vibe—smooth R&B, great drinks, and even better food. The unlimited Lemon Drops were perfectly chilled, tart, and refreshing. But the star? The cheesy seafood omelet—fluffy, loaded with fresh seafood, and seasoned just right. Every bite was rich, melty, and full of flavor. Friendly bartenders and a laid-back atmosphere make this spot a must-visit. Five stars, no question.
