Despite asking for “no onions” in my admittedly picky “Lox and capers, everything bagel toasted, no onions” with a repeat of the “no onions” who knew that having to pick the onions off the sandwich would make it taste just a bit more flavorful. It’s more the consistency of the weird onion that I don’t like. Anyway, I get that it’s tough to find anyone willing to get up before the sun to serve bagels to the folks of northern Ottawa County and southern Muskegon County. The food is ALWAYS delicious. The service is always very friendly. Maybe a little more attention to nitpicky orders but 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because it’s great to have bagels, bagel sandwiches, toasted bagel chips, etc. so close to home.

Nice workers, but every time I go here there’s something weird with my order. Today I got just an asiago bagel with cream cheese and ended up with whatever mixture of seasonings and crumbs were on the last 20 bagels. Gross.

4 issues: 1. They put soiled lettuce on a sandwich. They put melted cheese on the sandwiches we ordered without cheese. They made us the wrong drink. 2. They charge extra for using a card. 3. They put fennel or caraway seeds on their everything bagels, which makes them awful. 4. The employees are rude. Mistakes can happen, but when you’re treated poorly for politely asking they be fixed….

Always have a good experience at any of the Brooklyn Bagels locations. The bagels are truly the only real option for a real bagel in Muskegon. No one comes close. They have many different flavors of bagels, some that can change seasonally too. The cream cheeses are always made fresh and are delicious. I like everything offered on the menu. Including the hot and cold coffee beverages, the sandwiches – breakfast or lunch. You really just can’t go wrong. Just be prepared to eat. The bagels are the size of your face and they don’t skimp on the cream cheese either!!

Would have loved to give this establishment a higher rating, but I can’t based on recent experiences. I’m a regular customer, but won’t be anymore. The food is delicious, but that’s when I can actually get the food I ordered. I usually go through the drive thru, and recently, I’ve sat for as long as 20 min waiting to get to the window. When I get there, I’m told the food I ordered is no longer available and that I have to choose something else. I generally order a bagel, and suddenly, there will only be 1 or 2 options available from the time I ordered to the time I get to the window. They always seem to be out of bagel choices in general (even when I get there early), and it seems to be getting worse. I’m not sure who is doing the ordering for this establishment, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I hope they can improve, because I’d love to get food from them.
