We come here often and love their bagels. However if you order a sandwich they barely put enough meat on them to even taste. It was basically a tomato sandwich. Definitely nothing like the pictures on the menu.

Bagels were always great. Now they suck. New management is really dragging this business down. For the second week in a row I brought home under cooked (almost raw) bagels. Damp and heavy with super large holes. You cannot “smear” cream cheese onto these bagels there’s no room. I threw them out and won’t be back. Before on left. after on right.

For all the people that made negative comments about the Brooklyn Bagel business. As of two weeks ago the business became a privately owned franchise. When it was a corporate owned was not run well. They had some internal issues. The new owners purchased the franchise with a ton of issues and they are on the way to make this a quality business as it was in the beginning. Please give them a chance and talk with them. They will correct any issues you may have with food or beverages. If this helps they will look for another location in the Villages.

I have bought bagels and muffins since this store opened and always spoken highly in the past of the quality. Not any more!. The last 2-3 times the quality has gone totally down hill. This week went there at 12 noon and there was only 4 muffins available and maybe a dozen total different flavor bagels available. I bought 3 sesame and 3 everything to take home. They were all literally thrown together in one bag as is. Resulted in sesame seed bagels smelling and tasting like everything bagels by time got home. They were flat, misshaped and a brownish color inside the bagel not normal white. The bagels were heavy/doughy and not great tbh. The everything bagels were so over coated with seasoning and to literally be edible had to scrape a lot of the seasoning off before toasting. Never seen anything like it, maybe to disguise the actual not nice taste of the bagel itself. Won’t be going back, 3 strikes/chances and I’m out…. Sad but it’s horrible.

Finally found a local place that serves great tasting bagels. Today hubby had an onion bagel and freshly made vegetable cream cheese. The cream cheese was mouth watering. I had the egg, bacon, sausage on a sesame bagel. It was so yummy and too big to eat in one sitting. Amazed at the cafe with the variety of coffee, drinks and even milk. My daughter who will only drink almond milk would have been delighted. Cafe. Clean and laid out to be functional. Outdoor seating is available. Service was great. We took 6 bagels home with us and the cinnamon bagels are delightful. Needed to savor the freshness and the memory of living in the north. A++ will return with no hesitation!

I love this delicious and wish there were more around but it’s a little hidden secret for the best bagels, coffee, cream cheese, pastrami or whatever you eat here. This location USED to serve great bagels,have been coming here since they opened over 10 years ago. A couple of weeks ago we stopped in at 1:30 and Marla helped us, they were out of whole wheat everything bagels but had a full basket of just everything bagels. We ordered 4 to go…she put her hand in the basket and was examining each one closely before putting them in the bag. My wife was very friendly with her and I was assuming Marla was picking out the best 4 bagels because nobody was waiting and they close at 3 P.M. Well….was I wrong. In the car we looked in the bag,the bagel on the top was small but looked okay. When we got home and looked at the other 3, they were shaped like horseshoes and totally burnt and hard. We wife called the store and asked for the mngr.,Marla said he wasn’t there(Jason) and try later,she added that she does not bake the bagels and just puts them in the bag.The next day the “manager” repeated the same words. I don’t mind paying higher prices but you must maintain quality and the last few years years this location has been failing. The Wesley Chapel location still has GREAT bagels.
