This pizza place, hidden away in the strip plaza in Downey, is a gem that didn’t disappoint on my first visit. I tried their spicy pepperoni pizza, which had a unique sweet and spicy flavor. The chicken parmesan sub was equally delicious. You can order pizza by the slice or whole, and I highly recommend it. I’ll definitely be back!

Ordered Brooklyn Square for delivery and it did not disappoint. I was craving a sandwich and also curious about their pizza, so we tried both. We got the Honey DeNiro pizza and it was delicious! Loved the combination of honey drizzled pepperoni with the creamy ricotta. For the sandwich, I ordered the prosciutto and salami, and they did not skimp on the meat at all. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. I would definitely order again and can’t wait to try more of their pizzas and other menu items.

Best pizza I’ve ever had. I’m actually mad my pizza box is now empty.. The vodka pasta was also a 10/10. Came across a video online of this place and was dying to try it ever since. Very happy after that meal. Will definitely be coming back to try a sandwich.

Being an east coaster now living half my life in CA, this place has legit pizza the crust was perfect, the sauce was deliciously sweet enough. Everything was to perfection. I am quite impressed. Only thing I would like to see in the future, would be a place to eat inside. But this is a great spot.

Many who remember the original Leslie’s Pizza in this unassuming strip mall on Imperial Highway will welcome the return of it as Brooklyn Square NY Pizza. Really great tasting thin crust NY style pizza slices. Went on their first day open and they were ready to serve. Had the original pepperoni, meat lovers and Spicy Pepperoni and it was all super tasty with a perfectly thin crust and great taste to the last bite. These are some of the best pizza slices around.

The wings were awesome; super tasty with both BBQ and Mild sauces, and cooked just right. The Italian Bada Bing Sandwich was loaded with delicious meats and fresh toppings, all on a great Hero roll. The Pepperoni Calzone was cheesy, packed with pepperoni, and accompanied by delicious marinara sauce; I would definitely add a second marinara sauce.
Plus, the portions are huge! Both the sub and calzone are big enough to share. Highly recommend if you’re hungry and want something delicious!

The Spicy PHD – Square Pie was incredible. This might be my new favorite pizza of all time. The sweetness and the spiciness worked together perfectly. At first it seemed a bit pricey, but after seeing the portion size, it was definitely worth it. The Greek Salad was delicious. The veggies were all pre-chopped, which was very much appreciated. The Garlic Knots were perfect. The dough was delicious and the perfect amount of garlic flavor.

I have lived in Downey a vast majority of my life and I’ve tried all the pizza joints. Brooklyn Square is climbing my list of favorite Pizza quickly!
The pizza is great! The sauce is tasty and really fresh tasting.
The garlic knots are freaking amazing as well as the mozzarella sticks. I also tried the risotto balls…they were tasty, but not my favorite thing.

Food was hot and delicious. Staff was swift and friendly. The calzones are big! Penne vodka so good. The only thing I personally disliked was the Italian dressing. Very small waiting/ordering space. Great place recommended !
