it’s not the quintessential ny style pizza, but it’s the closet we’ve tasted in the area. if the crust was just baked to a crunch and snap when you fold… i’d give them 5 stars on taste. they’re always very nice in there and never had an issue with pricing or quality. it’s always our go-to for nice thin crust pizza!

The female where I’m having ma vehicle worked on raved about the “great pizza” here. I’m going to have yo take their comments w/a grain of salt fm now on. There is a special slices & drink $6″ So asked what kind of slices. The guy pops out the menu and points to the list. I thought I’d try the Brooklyn (meatlovers )special & Mediterranean. The guy starts going on about each toppin $1.50. Told him I only want the 2 slices. Wanted to pay after I had taken a bite. He looks up & is trying to figure the “cost.” I’m looking at this order thinking this is what the drunks would order there for $3.50 a slice in san diego. He comes up w $18.50! I said I just got ur 2 slices u advertised l& picked fm what he show me. He took $10 despite guy volunteering to pitch in 8. Left of foto Mediterranean & rt. Brooklyn. Add don’t state ant specific pizza type.

I have family in New York, and I spent a lot of time out there over the years. And even though I personally lived in Queens while I was there, Brooklyn Pizza rates among any pizza place on the East Coast. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere.

I have been order pizza from this place for the pasta 20 years and today I received the worst pizza you can received $20.39 with tips. The owner was sit on the chair watching video music and gave me the pizza missing one topping. The place was 103f (broken air?) and he just throw the topping on the top of pizza e put on the oven. I love this place. The gentleman was wonderful. I called to let him know that I was coming. He waited for me. The pizza was excellent. If you’re from New Jersey, or New York you will really appreciate the pizza. The pizza I got was huge. Just like back home.

Ok I have to say I love pizza! But ever since visiting New York I have found a few here in L.A. that come pretty close. But the other day I came across this little place. There pizza in my taste buds is the best New York pizza here in los Angeles I was told by who I think was the owner he has owned it for 24 years and the place has been there for 61 years. The ovens are still the original ones. It’s not a fancy 5 star restaurant but I give it a 5 star pizza. Oh and the pricing compared to others I have been too they beat most of them. When I was there 2 large pizza I topping I think was 24. Most places you can’t even buy one at that price. Lunch special 2 slices and a drink 5.99 sorry if I’m in the area that’s where I’m going.

From the reviews it would seem it’s very hit amd miss. Our experience was a miss. I dont like to give poor reviews, but we were very disapointed. Our Hawaiian pizza (not my choice) was runny and very scant on toppings. The crust was overcooked and we ended up getting other food for dinner. For a place in business for so long, we did not expect this.
