I love Brooklyn Pizza, however I can not say the same for the Calzone I decided to try tonight. I am very disappointed its not made fresh, but I got it with peppers, sausage and spinach. Aside from the sausage that looks like pepperoni, the cheese was hardly melted and the ricotta was cold because they cut open one from the display and stuffed it with my toppings and put it in the oven. The fact that my side of sauce was hotter says it all. In fairness, I did not ask to send it back, but as many times as I have sat and ate here, they never ask how the food is, I guess its expected that its good. I was looking forward to trying something new, but they fell short today. Maybe another day will be better.
Just a quick update, the waitress took away my plate and I casually mentioned that my food was terrible, her replay was that she was sorry about that. I thought maybe she would mention it to someone, but I guess not. Very disappointed tonight and I changed my overall service and atmosphere stars to reflect it. Again, maybe next time will be better.

I am writing to complain about the Hawaiian pizza I ordered, which was completely burned and tasteless—the worst I have ever had.
Despite clearly pointing this out at the restaurant and having others witness the condition of the pizza, the manager refused to replace it or offer any solution. This level of disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable.
I expect better professionalism and accountability.

Went in a couple of days ago, I was wearing a soccer jersey. One of the cooks in the back saw it and complemented it, and we talked for awhile. You could tell the kid was very passionate about his job and his hobbies, and it showed in the food! Atmosphere was very pleasant, I got takeout but could easily eat inside and not feel weird. Overall a great experience, and I will most certainly be coming back to this location, not just because of the food, but the kind and caring staff! (I didn’t catch the name of the cook I was chatting with, but it was a smaller boy with curly hair, he was great!)

Got the 2 slice special. Really like the ambiance of this restaurant, with the patio and all, but the pizza is underwhelming to me. It is pretty bland and didn’t have that much flavor. Definitely worth it to drive the few extra miles over to Johnny Tomatoes if you want a NY slice.

Met a gf for lunch here, visiting family in town. And it was really great. I got a salad with grilled salmon. She got gluten free pasta. Both were delicious!! Service was great! Manager came by to check on us. It’s an easy and light atmosphere. You don’t have to get pizza. They have all kinds of stuff. Not a huge beer selection, but that’s fine. They probably rotate their taps. Would absolutely recommend.

If you want pizza by the slice, stop into Brooklyn Pizza Parlor. There are tvs mounted on the walls, so you can watch any sport while eating pizza. It’s also a great place to take the kids. The staff are very friendly and the dining area is kept extremely clean. The menu has a variety of pizza pies, baked pasta, calzones, heroes, and appetizers. I ordered garlic knots, a slice of pepperoni, and a nonna slice. Everything I had was absolutely delicious

Great pizza, and they have my favorite arracini ( rice balls stuffed with ground beef). Stromboli is excellent too. Service is always friendly and desserts look delicious, but I’ve never tried them-always too full!

We recently came in for an early dinner. We ordered a sausage pizza and the garlic knots. The service was very friendly and helpful but we thought the food was just ok. Their sausage was in thin slices similar to what pepperoni looks like instead of in clumps. The pizza crust was great on the ends but in the middle is wasn’t done enough. The sauce wasn’t anything special. The garlic knots were doughy and were just ok. Overall the food was lacking flavor. We had to add pepper flakes & parmesan cheese. I ended up only eating one slice.

My husband and I I were in this restaurant today. We placed our order and the owner came out to our table to ensure they prepared my sandwich properly. Talk about great service! Our meals were excellent. I couldn’t help but notice how many young families frequent this establishment. From the girls that took our order to time they cleared our dishes, the atmosphere was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
