I don’t know which guy made my pizza, all I know is y’all need to make sure he makes every pizza from here on out. Never have I eveeeer had a pizza made like this. Normally the pizzas are good… this one was AMAZING. The cheese, the sauce, the fresh mozz ratio… give that man a raise. Whoever was on pizza duty between 5pm and 6pm, you sir are a legend.

We had the meatball sub, spaghetti & meatball and the cheese ravioli with a house salad. Delivery was supposed an hour and 10 min, got it in 20! Tasty and great portions for the price!

Deli. My kids love it I did like it as well. I did feel safe eating. The place is clean and that’s one of the most important things for me in a restaurant. That day before to come to Brooklyn I did have a bad experience in a different place.

So I’m from Myrtle Beach and I visited Wilmington for the day and wanted to try something new. I saw the reviews and this place looked like the highest reviewed in the area…. I ordered a large pepperoni. Ask for it to be slightly well done which it wasn’t. The pepperonis were undercooked. So it’s like they took a cheese pizza that was already done threw some pepperoni on the top and stuck it in the oven more than likely. But even if they didn’t it doesn’t matter because the worst part was the grease. When I say that this is the greasiest pizza I’ve ever had I don’t even have a comparison. There were literally pools of grease on the pepperonis. Like completely filled with liquid. It was actually insane. Aside from the grease it just didn’t taste very good and the pepperoni being undercooked and chewy made it even worse. When I flipped a piece upside down it was so wet on the bottom that the bread was tearing from being so soaked in grease. I’m willing to bet that most of these reviews for this place are fake, but anyone who pretends that this is authentic New York Pizza is brain dead. I never leave reviews but the fact that they wouldn’t give me my money back for the large pizza that I ate one slice of pretty much solidified them getting a bad review. They just said they don’t do a refunds, and that’s a really stupid policy. Because you went from me ignoring it and simply never going back to now me leaving you a bad review for 20 bucks. And this review is like one of the only real ones…. It’s not about the money it’s about doing right…. Overall, do not go to this place if you’re looking for real thin crust New York style pizza. Aside from the 3 gallons of grease the taste wasn’t good either, average at best. I can name 20 places in Myrtle Beach that are 500 times better than this and they don’t even have great reviews off the top of my head. I’m telling you right now do not listen to these positive reviews they’re coming from either the employees, Friends of the employees, fake accounts, or people who have never had real New York style pizza in their lives… I promise you that you will regret it if you don’t listen to what I’m saying.

My wife and I had dinner there while visiting Wilmington. After shopping, we wanted pizza and took to Google to look close by. It was very obvious that Brooklyn is geared more toward takeout and delivery than the dine in experience. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table. Everything thing else is self serve. We were too late for pizza by the slice, so we elected to split wings and a stromboli. I felt like the wings were frozen precooked, heated in the oven, and sauced. The buffalo sauce a traditional buffalo and delicious in my opinion. The stromboli, while delicious, was only a partial and missing my favorite part, the ends. I love the doughy ends of the stromboli. The marinara was simple, but delicious in my opinion. The drink choices were only can drinks. The staff was pleasant and courteous. Overall it was a good experience. It would definitely be a regular place for takeout, if I lived in the area.

Decided to give this place a try after reading a good amount of the reviews. I want to start by saying, the customer service and wait time was great but I felt disappointed with the Sicilian pie. A solid 3/5 stars. I’m a New Haven native so I’m used to good quality pizza and never expect to have the same BUT I was quite disappointed with this pie.

Let me begin by saying the dough was amazing. It was crunchy, held structure and had good flavor. But the canned mushrooms, extreme lack of flavor from the sauce and absurd amount of cheese really threw me off… I also got a free order of garlic knots that were packed with flavor which was great but the pizza was a huge let down. If I’m being honest, the sauce just tasted like canned crushed tomatoes rather than a good quality pizza sauce. I’ve included a photo of what my Sicilian pie from a local Italian pizza shop near me typically looks like vs the one from here.

I also felt a bit disappointed that they were not able to deliver 13 minutes away from their location. Again 3/5 stars from my experience. I appreciate the kind service but there’s definitely room for growth in multiple areas for their pies. I’d be willing to try Brooklyn Pizza Co Market st location again in a few weeks to see if things improve. If not, unfortunately this just isn’t the place for me.

Best pizza in Wilmington! Closest to NY style pizza around. The 5 stars for atmosphere are that it feels like a Brooklyn neighborhood pizzeria, no pretension. Nothing fancy just sit down and eat your slice.

The four stars for the food is for the lasagna, calzone, wings and sausage pizza. The lasagna is some of the best in Wilmington. It is as good or better than the more fancy restaurants in the area. The calzone is delicious. I usually get a ham calzone. The wings are big and the honey BBQ is very tasty. The sausage they use on the pizzas is cut thin and very good.

The problem I have had is any pizza with pepperoni. It makes the pizza so greasy it is not edible. I complained and I was told that the manager told the person I talked to on the phone that it is normal for the pizza to be greasy from pepperoni. That was it. They did not care that I paid for a pizza I could not eat and was throwing away. The grease as you can see in the picture went through the dough and through the pizza box. Crazy.

I understand pepperoni can cause grease but thousands of other pizza places have pepperoni and you can eat the pizza so what ever they are using probably needs to be changed.

I hesitated for a while to do this review because I really do like their food outside of the pepperoni. The service one star is for how I was treated when I called about the pepperoni and the atmosphere could use a deep cleaning and or a remodel but it does not affect me because I always get the food to go. With all that said I still recommend this restaurant as a must try if you are visiting or live in the area.
