Wow! I have read previous reviews about this little place. First time and wow, amazing quality food! We ordered garlic bread, 13″ cheese/pepperoni pie, meat lovers calzone, meat spaghetti, 2 drinks, and a water for $61. Everything was delicious! I tried my GF’s spaghetti and that damn sauce blew my mind, and I swear those noodles are homemade.
The owner and staff were amazing and extremely polite, apologizing for the state of the tables after an evening rush as we got there around 8pm. No worries! It was just the 2 of them, I completely understand!
Will definitely be going back! Thank you Brooklyn Pie for the amazing quality food! ❤️

Food was really, really good. Fresh, I could see the staff making everything fresh after we ordered. The restaurant itself is a little warm if you’re dining in, but overall comforting with the staff being extremely attentive. It’s byob which is a plus and they offered us ice to keep our wine cool and provided us glasses. We will definitely be back – everything was delicious and reasonably priced.

My wife had a craving for pasta tonight (July 12, 2025), so I started naming off a few fancy (read: pricey) spots, both here in Mansfield and beyond. But then it hit me—Brooklyn Pie & Cafe isn’t just an excellent pizzeria. They’ve been quietly advertising their pasta dishes in their emails, and apparently, I was listening more than I realized.
I’ve had their pizza plenty of times, but never their pasta. That changed tonight.
Now, the dining room isn’t anything fancy—three booths, a long 12-top table running down the middle, and a few two-tops scattered around. Bright lighting, instrumental music playing on a TV with a looping Italian landscape… it’s casual and unpretentious.
Like most pizza joints, you order at the counter and pay upfront—eat in or to-go. One upside: no waiting around for a check. Just enjoy your meal and head out.
So, the pasta:
My wife went with the manicotti; I ordered the lasagna with meat sauce. We split a caprese salad. Total cost? $30 or so with two waters. The restaurant is BYOB.
The young lady who took our order brought us glasses of ice and a carafe of water with lemon slices—a nice touch.
The salad? Beautifully simple: sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and a drizzle of balsamic reduction. Fresh and full of flavor. (We ate it before taking a photo).
The entrees arrived piping hot—seriously hot. Once they cooled, I took a bite and noticed the sauce right away—bright, tomato-forward, and clearly made from scratch. Turns out, it is.
Each pasta dish came with a small cup of breadsticks, perfect for soaking up every last drop of sauce. Which we did. Plates? Completely clean.
Then Maria, the owner, came by to check on us. She shared that the café was her late husband John’s dream—he passed away just a couple years into opening the place. Now she runs it with their daughter and two sons. It’s truly a family effort.
They’ve been open six years, and somehow this was our first time trying the pasta. It won’t be our last.

My favorite pizza spot. I usually get a cheese pizza. It is that good! Plus, even if I eat the entire thing I don’t get the runs like the hut down the street. Forgive me of course, they dont even compare. Seriously, I only get the cheese pizza. It is that good. We are extremely lucky to have this local joint so close to home.

Great authentic food from this restaurant! This is a family owned business, and you can tell they make everything with love. The restaurant itself has a very cozy feel, and I love that it’s simple and the focus is on the food. I forgot to ask her name, but our server was a delight 🙂 We ordered the 18″ Margherita Pizza, Baked Ziti, and Garlic knots. The pizza was very light, crispy, and deliciously made. I appreciated the fresh ingredients used. Rather than feeling overstuffed, it leaves you feeling satisfied. The Baked Ziti was phenomenal. I love tomato sauce, and the sauce from this dish was a perfect balance of acidity and slight sweetness. Overall, my husband and I had a great experience. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I went to Brooklyn Pie & Cafe after reading about them on a local foodies page. I am so glad we did! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed. We ordered the pizza and it was absolutely delicious- fresh, flavorful and the perfect NY style! The rest of the menu was filled with classic Italian dishes that we will be back to try. We loved it so much we ended up using them to cater a work function and they knocked it out of the park! Everyone raved about the pizza and the process for ordering, service and pick up were just as great as when we dined in. We love to support a local business that puts so much heart into what they do. We’ll definitely be back- this place is a great little neighborhood gem!

Brooklyn Pie has got to be the best pizza in Mansfield—honestly, maybe in the entire DFW metroplex. I’m seriously impressed! One of my clients, who I trust completely (especially when I’m hungry), recommended it to me today—and it smashed every expectation I had.
I ordered the XL beef and extra cheese, a small pepperoni, and some BBQ wings—and every bite was incredible. The flavor, the crust, the quality of ingredients—everything was top-tier. I only regret not ordering more variety because now I know everything on that menu is probably a hit.
If you’re anywhere near Mansfield and craving pizza, don’t even think twice. Brooklyn Pie is the real deal!

What a great find this place was. From the outside it’s unassuming, but it’s cozy, has awesome pizza (that’s what we had), and BYOB if you so choose. Definitely try this place out!
