Nice pizza joint located in Punta Gorda. Living up north in New Jersey, I know pizza is hot or miss the further south you go. Skeptical at first when we decided on pizza, but gave it a shot. We sat down down ordered a plain pie. I guessing the pizza was 14″ came out fresh out of the oven and was scorching hot. Pizza had a nice this crust that was cooked to perfection woth a nice crisp to it. Being 14″ pie, we polished it off woth no leftovers to take home. At the end of my vacation I was not drinking but could definitelysee myself enjoying one of the cold beer selections that were available. Definitely one of the better pies I’ve had while down in Florida.

First time at this Brooklyn Joes Pizza, and I was very impressed. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and extremely helpful. The pizza was awesome, the place was really nice, and everything was very clean. Definitely a must-see and a must-try!

Today for lunch we tried Brooklyn Joe’s for the first time, and I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical at first. After living in Southwest Florida for years, I’ve struggled to find authentic Brooklyn-style pizza that truly meets expectations.
Our server, Ian, and I had a great conversation where he explained that the owner (from Brooklyn) and his business partner (from Port Charlotte) don’t run the store together and that the owner isn’t involved in the day-to-day. That initially made me hesitant — but to my surprise, the food absolutely exceeded every expectation.
The pizza was perfect. The mussels in red sauce were perfect. My wife’s wings were perfect. My daughter’s meatball sub was perfect. The Zeppole were perfect. And to top it all off, the tiramisu was amazing — easily one of the best I’ve had in years. If I could give more than five stars, I would.
On top of the food, Ian delivered excellent service. He kept our drinks full, brought everything out hot and promptly, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time.
Brooklyn Joe’s is definitely a new favorite, and I’m already looking forward to going back.

We stopped in for some pizza and beer. The pizza was on point for NY style, i.e, it was delicious. The restaurant was clean and our waitress, Cherish, along with other staff were very friendly. We throughly enjoyed our time and meal, have plenty of leftovers, and definitely will recommend this restaurant. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Tossing at 3.4 ⭐️ I was bummed I’ll start with the good… The place is roomy with friendly service. Aaaannnddd now the rest…The pizza is nothing like Brooklyn or NYC, for that matter. The “large” pie looks like a medium and alittle too thin for my taste. The sauce was okay while having the right amount of cheese. The cheesesteak could’ve used more steak (meat was very thin) . The Buffalo chicken was okay. We had the garlic knots which were also “just okay”.
This would be a place if you want to compromise a good NY pizza. The Brooklyn in the name is misleading as it doesn’t represent the borough at all.
While the service was good, the pizza leaves much to be desired. If the name was Joe’s Pizza, then it would be appropriate. But don’t go here thinking it’ll take you to NY because you’ll be left stranded in your wishes.

If you like New York style pie (aka pizza) this is a place to go. Our pizza pie was very good, came out fast and we had brilliant service. As good as the pizza was stay for the Tiramisu, it was maybe the best we have ever had. Thanks to Ian and Justin for a great first experience. We will be back.

I’ve eaten here multiple times with great experiences. Last week I ordered and they gave me the wrong pizza the week prior. I would have liked it if the manager talked to me or at least acknowledged me. But overall I was satisfied that they offered a resolution and the pizza was delicious, it was to my liking.

I have now eaten here three times and I must say that finally there is a place I have found in town that knows how to cook pizza properly. If you like your pizza cooked like it’s supposed to be where the crust is actually cooked on the bottom juicy on the inside perfect amount of toppings a good tasting sauce and quality product and this is the place to go.
I’m originally from Long Island and I have very regularly eaten pizza in Brooklyn and this is the closest thing you’re going to get in Florida that I have seen so far. The price is on par if not better than most places around and they’re giving you the quality you deserve for the price.
It has a really nice cute atmosphere on the inside and the service is always fast.
We recently ordered five pizzas for my son’s birthday we didn’t order them well done we didn’t order any extra instructions we just left them make the pizzas the way that they make them and everything was perfect My entire family is from Long Island and we’ve eaten everywhere in the city and in Brooklyn and Long Island everywhere around and it’s the closest place to home.
I am a huge chicken parmesan fan and I can’t wait to go back and give that a try.

Great casual restaurant. Food is delicious, served hot, and nicely plated. Staff is attentive, but not overbearing. Prices are reasonable. Forgot to take a photo, I was hungry and it was sooo good. We had pizza, chicken picatta, veal marsala, spaghetti and meatballs, spaghetti and sausage, calzone, and a ham grinder. Lol There were 8 of us. They do take out as well.
