Brooklyn Dumpling Shop at Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, NJ is such a game changer for a mall meal! It’s located right by the food court and has way more than just dumplings. The Brooklyn Bowls were a favorite you can customize your base, protein, and sauce, and it comes out fresh, filling, and so satisfying. The dumplings are a must-try too you can get them fried, seared, or steamed with dipping sauces, or even in broth for a cozy soup. With so many options, there’s truly something for everyone. Highly recommend stopping by!

I get dumplings in broth here once a week It’s absolutely delicious! The guy who works there is amazing and always customizes my bowl exactly how I like it, making every visit a wonderful experience. I have nothing but positive things to say about the food and the friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Good Asian food, I ordered a shrimp bowl, it came with a cabbage salad, I also ordered lemonade, it was not bad, I paid $25 for all this. The cafe is located in the food court, I was there on a weekday, there were few people

It is misleading and extremely disappointing when you offer a bowl with mixed greens and your customer receive a bowl of cabbage

Decent food!!! But potion poorly, also they forgot to add my sauce that included in my combo meal… and like many others say, its overpriced. Was excited to try this place but slightly disappointed..

The food was good but a bit pricey for the quantity that it offers. I do appreciate that my dumpling in broth order had been thoroughly wrapped in saran wrap to prevent spillage & leakage. My order was pretty large I wish it would have been double bagged. The young lady who prepared my order seemed a little rude but maybe she just needs some customer service training – she was young. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would purchase again.

The dumplings in broth are pretty good, though if you’re looking for an authentic experience, this ain’t it. The hibachi noodles are too sweet, they could use some vinegar to cut them. Other than that, this place gets the job done.

I ordered the 4pc Wagyu seared dumplings ($7) w black sesame chili oil and the Peanut Noodle bowl w “golden chicken” ($12). It did not meet my expectations for a flavorful Asian meal. It looks the part but doesn’t deliver. As you can see, it’s small portions and the creamy peanut sauce dampened the experience more than enhanced it. The black sesame chili seems to be black sesame seeds and red pepper flakes in a seed oil. The Wagyu beef tastes like regular beef. It added some heat but nothing like a Lao Ma Spice. The only good thing was the crispy fried chicken of the noodle bowl. I regret it. I should’ve been clued in by the lack of Chinese people working here. It gets a 2 star for effort.
