I can say without a doubt that Brooklyn Boys Pizza is an exact match to Brooklyn Pizza especially their Sicilian squares! My favorite ones are the corner squares! You must try the pizza there ! I came to try the pizza because I’m Brooklyn for life. The name said Brooklyn so I had to come try it.
The pizza is really good. I gave it a 4 because it’s not as good as a Brooklyn pizza but came close. I think it’s just missing a little bit more flavor. There’s a flavor you get from NY pizza that you get even after eating the pizza. This is much better than a lot of places in California selling NY pizza. I would definitely come back.

Best pizza in Oceanside. Although it was good before the ownership change, the new owner have kept true to the menu and quality of their pizza. They even put on the Padres game for me. Great service and food.

Hands down the best pizza in Oceanside! Brooklyn Boys Pizza delivers authentic New York–style slices that never disappoint. The crust, the sauce, the cheese—everything is on point. Owner Dan is amazing and makes the experience even better. If you’re craving real New York–style pizza, this is the place. Highly recommend!

I just received word from friends of the owners that this establishment will REOPEN SOON AFTER the new renovations are completed!
The sign on the door confirms as it reads :
“Closed for Renovations”
And this is fantastic news for lovers of traditional NY Style Pizza!!

As of today, Brooklyn Boyz Pizza has been closed down.
It’s a shame that another small business has been forced to shutdown in Oceanside, especially one that has been serving the community such delicious pizza.
At least the causes were “natural” and it due to the owners death and nobody being able to take-over the business.
It breaks my heart that I’ve only been here a handful of times. But I truly loved my experiences and their New York Style Pizza was Phenomenal! From the crust, to the sauce and the toppings, it was all terrific.
A big favorite was the baked ziti pizza and I loved their Sicilian slices as well.
The interior was so appropriately decorated with a lot of New York / Brooklyn paraphernalia & posters.
Brooklyn Boyz Pizza was a business at the heart of Oceanside standards and it will be missed… I hope it isn’t replaced with some chain or franchise.

The pizza was ok. We got pepperoni and black olive. It was served quickly. Got the garlic knots and they were not very garlicky but very soft. The table wasn’t clean. I wiped it down and there was a lot of dust on my napkin. Seating was small, barely enough room for the 5 of us even though there were 3 tables. There isn’t enough room to seat people at all of the chairs. You would run into people. The server never came to see if we needed anything else. Maybe I was mistaken about the type of restaurant it was so having her come back might not have been expected.

It was a slow evening, I could see there were only 2 working orders and a table of 3 who were already eating.

New Yorker here to tell you this is real New York pizza. You can tell the real ones because they use ingredients from the distributor called Roma. This is the NY Pizza secret. We had a couple of slices and a meatball hero. They were delicious and just like back home. Really nice people too. check them out.

We had the lasagna pizza and it was amazing! I never thought to make a lasagna pizza before, but so this was a first. My boyfriend said that this topped every pizza place he has tried out here. Will definitely be coming back and trying more!
