Branch of a bistro chain in a bookstore, serving American fare all day, with coffee & drinks.

Took in a quick bite for lunch and sat at the bar. Waited a bit longer to get waited on than it should have. We ordered a cup of the loaded potato soup and the Rosemary Parm fries with garlic aioli. Both were great! The empty bowls tell the whole story! Definitely recommend!

My wife and I attended the Valentine’s Day event at Bronte Bistro this past Saturday, and it was truly unforgettable. The atmosphere was warm and beautifully arranged, creating the perfect setting for celebration. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The service was exceptional. Our waitress Faith was attentive, kind and handled every detail seamlessly. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the experience. We enjoyed a wonderful 3 course meal with wine and champagne. The crab-stuffed salmon with dill cream sauce was the winner for me, closely followed by the white chocolate and berry cheesecake. This place did a great job combining exceptional service, amazing food with such a meaningful and memorable experience. This place absolutely delivered.

We were just visiting Cincinnati over the weekend ..
Very good food and a great location, especially if you love books! I’ve never been in a Joseph Beth bookstore which is attached to the bistro.
The staff did a good job hustling to keep up with the lunchtime crowd.
The goat cheese pear salad and the mushroom soup was so good!! I would definitely get it again.

I never have experiences so bad that I feel obligated to leave a review, but I feel almost responsible to alert the public on how overpriced, bland, and sterile this place is. Do not go here. First Watch is right next door, same prices but with far better food and service. I truly don’t know how this place is in business when there’s so many better options around.
The atmosphere looks like a cross between a nursing home and a casino for some reason. The tables are covered in paper which makes you feel like you’re eating at a preschool.
I waited for 30 minutes (not exaggerating) for my “biscuits with chicken and potatoes” which turned out to be a meal consisting of frozen food from GFS that looked microwaved. The “breakfast potatoes” were quite literally tater tots from the freezer isle at Kroger. I paid $16 for that.
The coffee was ok, everything else was absolutely insane. I wish I had taken a picture.
In summary – very overpriced for the quality and portions you receive, uncomfortable atmosphere, subpar service.

The service far exceeded expectations (seriously outstanding), our meal was great, and the hot chocolate was a treat all by itself.

I’m an avid crème brûlée lover. I had already eaten dinner at Potbelly across the way. Amy greeted me when I walked in. I was ONLY there for crème brûlée. She and I agreed sitting in to eat it is way better than to-go, and I’m so glad I did! It was one of the best crème brûlées I’ve had for sure!
Amy is lovely and great at her job! Very nice 🙂 will definitely be back for both the crème brûlée and the stellar service!

My husband and I went the other night for dinner. There was no one to greet us at the door. We stood waiting, watching employees pass by for several minutes before being taken to a table. The service was slow, however, it was very obvious our server was overwhelmed with the volume of the restaurant. I ordered the Nicoise salad, my husband ordered the Chicken Picatta. We finally received our meals after 30-35 minutes. The lettuce in my salad was wilted and soggy. My husband’s chicken was over cooked and dry.
Disappointed in the quality of the food, especially for the price and the service we received.

It’s always busy for lunch, have been there several times. Made a reservation since we had 6 people. Service was great and the atmosphere is nice. I had the fish sandwich, the portion of friend fish was small, dwarfed by the bun. I got fruit instead of fries and it was a very small cup of fruit, like a condiment cup. Getting fries would have been a lot more food. Next time I will get something that is more food for the price.

This was our first time visiting Bronte Bistro and were able to be seated right away at 11:00am on a Sunday. After that time there were many guests being added to the wait list. The service was fast and friendly, while the food tasted great. It seemed like they may be short staffed, as there were only a couple of waiters serving the whole restaurant. Pedro did a great job keeping up with the large amount of tables with no delays. This place seems popular for coffee and reading, as it is attached to the book store.
