This place is amazing! I mean look at these pictures of our meals! The staff is wonderful and the food is 11/10!! Portions are huge! Definitely recommend going!! The only thing I didn’t love was the walls lol but that’s not stopping us from coming back!

Let me start off by saying this was THE BEST food I have ever had here in Michigan. Everything is house made. The macaroni was so mouth wateringly delicious. The brisket had absolutely everything a perfect brisket needs. Now let me tell you I was worried about not fitting in, in this small town but the from the wait staff down to the other customers it was so welcoming. The atmosphere was nice to say the least. Our waiter was on top of everything including drink refills. I got the brisket and Mac wrap per recommendation and the most amazing house made French fries. believe me I was not disappointed. 10/10 would recommend to anybody stopping in this small town or even passing through to stop and have a bite to eat here.

We shared the combo platter. 1/4 lb of each meat and 5 sides. Had brisket, pork, chicken, sausage, and ribs. All seemed like generous 1/4 lb servings. Sides were: collards, mac n cheese, smoked beans, and hush puppies. Everything was absolutely delicious. I usually don’t like much sweet in my beans, but these were exceptional. Hush puppies are unusually light and fluffy. Very good. Food came out quickly and the service was very good. Definitely recommend. Will return.

An absolute must stop if your in Middleville. The service was amazing. And the food was beyond delicious. I tried the Carolina burger and it came with a heaping helping of fresh homemade fries. The prices were spot on for the amount you get and how delicious it was. I can’t wait to visit again!

Broken Smoker is a truly great BBQ restaurant. As a testament I am not typically a fan of baked beans but Broken Smoker’s beans are phenomenal! I also loved their pulled pork sandwich. If you have never been to Broken Smoker or looking for some great BBQ I would highly recommend checking them out.

Wow! Went here on a whim last night. We were shocked. Their food has gotten amazing. Everything we had was incredible!
If you tried them out when they first opened and weren’t overly impressed, give them another shot. They’ve really figured out their BBQ!
They also had very chill live music that wasn’t overbearing so you could still talk to those you’re dining with. Great experience. Will be back!

Was delicious! My wife and i shared the ribs and kielbasa. Ribs were cooked perfectly melting off the bone with each bite. My wife thought the kielbasa was a little saltier to her liking but I thought it was good. It was hard to pick one sauce to use. They all were unique with good flavor. I do wish they had some regular restaurant tables. I understand the out door bbq theme but back support if needed is nice too.

The staff was so helpful and friendly, it felt like dining with family. The food was amazing as well! Excellent smokey flavor and the sides were fresh and homemade. Great prices too! We’ll be back soon!!

Walk in this little place and the smell of the smoker hits your nose letting you know it’s working great. The staff is friendly and attentive. This place is a banger. They do have hours when the smoker is working. If you want the some of the best BBQ in Michigan. Its First come first serve on the meat so When it’s gone it’s gone. The pulled chicken is cooked perfictly nice smoke to it not over powering and not to little. The shot gun brisket with fries had this house spicy cheese sauce that was actually really good. The brisket was juicy and really had a lot of flavor. The pulled pork is just as good as the chicken. I haven’t had the ribs. The bbq sauces are the accents to the meat and those are spot on. sweet and hot called the out house, not too much heat but just enough to make you want more of it. then this mustard bbq sauce called south Carolina sauce its a little heavy on the mustard but the spices make it really pop. The house sauce. There is a reason it’s the house sauce. It’s soo good you want to take some home. The baked beans are over the top. The grilled cheese sandwich is a must if you don’t know what to get. Like I said this place is a banger and it’s worth the money.
