We ordered chicken wings and rare beef pho. Everything was good overall, except that the food took a bit of time to come out and someone who came after us got their food first.
The chicken wings were actually a pleasant surprise! I didn’t expect much, but they were delicious.slightly sweet with a hint of Vietnamese fish sauce flavor. The pho had a noticeable peppery taste, which was nice, though the portion was a bit small. We liked the wings so much that we ordered another set to go when we left (though they came out a little late again).Overall, good food and cozy atmosphere. I’d come back again, especially for the wings!
The broth lacked depth, and there was an overwhelming smell of meat in every dish.
Even the bánh mì had a good baguette, but the portion was small, and again, the meat had an unpleasant odor.
I’ve had countless bowls of pho before, but this was the most disappointing experiences.
We came based on a friend’s recommendation and strong Google reviews, but if this is considered top-tier pho on the mainland U.S., it’s honestly a bit disappointing.
The portion of beef was generous, melt-in-your-mouth tender, soaking in a beautifully seasoned broth infused with lemongrass, basil, cilantro, lime, jalapeño, and perfectly cooked carrots. Each spoonful was a masterclass in balance and depth of flavor.
What truly set it off was the side of salt and pepper with chili and lime, a brilliant little dip that lit up the beef and tied the whole dish together. And let’s talk about that baguette: the warm, crispy crust giving way to a pillowy soft center was nothing short of bread perfection. Forget the debate on crunchy vs. soft; this was exactly right.
The ambience of the restaurant was inviting was spotlessly clean with a simple elegance and the service was both professional and lightning fast. I left planning my next visit before I even hit the door.
Anytime I’m in from Oklahoma, this spot is officially on my must-eat list. Can’t wait to explore more of their authentic Vietnamese dishes. If you’re anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and go, your taste buds will thank you!
We walked in on an early Sunday morning. We had a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids.)
They sat us down right away. It wasn’t quite busy yet. It took them 30 mins just to come take our orders.
They served many guest that arrived later than us, before us. I’m not sure it it was because we’re not Caucasian or Vietnamese? But super weird how they got their food ordered and served right away.
I should’ve just told my party up and hop somewhere else but we’re not from the area and we was in a rush to get back home.
The food was mediocre. Nothing special. For the price of the food, the portions are super small. Even the Babn mi sandwich was super small.
I should’ve just taken the bullet and driven to Cafe Vietnam. That place is where I usually go when I’m in town.
The viet server was super rude. She walked away while we was talking with her. The Indian server was very nice. But i honestly think she was overworked. So she was forgetful. Anyways I will not recommend or return ever back to this place.
