It’s everything a good breakfast should be…warm, cheesy, and possibly even made with love. The eggs are fluffy, the bacon and sausage is perfectly seasoned, and the peppers and onions give it just the right kick. It’s basically happiness rolled in a tortilla.
And don’t skip the sides…the sour cream and salsa take it over the top. Pair it with a hot cup of Broken Grounds coffee ☕… or in my case a Baja Blast Zero and you’ll be set for the day (or at least until lunch).
Honestly, it’s one of those meals that just makes you happy to live in a small town where people still care about good food and friendly service.
Broken Grounds Coffee Company isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a community hub with soul. I walked in expecting just a caffeine fix, but left feeling genuinely refreshed, both by the drink and the vibe.
You can tell this place was built with intention. The staff greet you like friends, the décor is warm and welcoming, and the coffee? Smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. I had a vanilla oat milk latte that hit all the right notes—balanced, cozy, and just sweet enough.
Backstory bonus: I learned from one of the baristas that the shop was started by locals who wanted to create a space for people to reconnect—both with each other and with themselves. It shows. Whether you’re here to study, meet up, or just breathe, this place delivers.
Pro tip: Try their seasonal specials (the maple cardamom latte was a dream!) and grab a seat near the window for a peaceful moment with your cup.
To the man who I saw that was there earlier today treating the barista horribly, she handled herself with grace and that is amazing enough. He was yelling about slow service when there were so many people in there before him and the drive thru line was already crazy enough. He left with a refund and refused to take the coffee but still was treating the employees so horribly!!
I applaud the barista for staying so calm and the drink she made tasted amazing!! Definitely will be going back again <33
