I think the people that are recommending this have never been to a real steakhouse. The steakhouse part itself was closed for seating so we had to sit at the table in the bar with like old filthy office chairs around it. The steaks themselves were subpar, the waitress or cook got our cooks wrong. He got the temperature I ordered and I got the temperature he ordered… It was like triple seasoned with garlic and Alpine touch and A1 or something, the flavor wasn’t good at all. It seemed like squishy or moist or something like that if that makes sense. I definitely will not be coming back here again

Spent 179.00 for 4 meals. 1 halibut dry no flavor, 1 sirloin steak tasted boiled no flavor, 1 rib eye steak special all gristle, no flavor, shouldn’t have paid for such crappy food but it wasnt worth arguing about. Had to ask for utensils. Worst meal ever will not go back

Came in from out of state, stopped by here after visiting the Old Montana State Prison and Automobile museum. They were short staffed, but our server was great! Food was amazing. I took photos, but not until after we had started eating lol

There is not a whole lot of of things to do in Deer Lodge. We had dinner at the Broken Arrow. We decided to gamble in the casino because we would get free drinks. We gambled for about an hour. When you factor in all of the free drinks we received, I feel like we came out ahead!!!

The staff was all very friendly & attentive. The food was decent but not anything to get excited about . Its really more of a bar than a steakhouse , it works if you are hungry & thirsty.

Visited this place on Indigenous Peoples Day (Monday) for dinner and it was quiet. To be expected.
The waitress was friendly and inviting, very attentive.
The bathroom was scented with burnt resistor for some reason but the overall vibe was good.
Food was simple, as advertised and very good.

Not Bad Steak, Cooked Great, alittle more fat then I prefer but it was good enough for me to clean plate. I was hungry though ♂️. Huckleberry Tea was something new for me but was Great too. Salad and Broccoli was weak (Salad just cheap bag salad)(Broccoli discolored) which is why I gave 4 star. Environment was Good. Downtown-Old School. Staff was Wonderful. Give them a Try! Desserts are Good too!

Enjoyed the Broken Arrow Special. Chose the baked potato as a side with butter and sour cream. Steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned great. It also came with a shrimp cocktail that I had before the entrée came out
Overall a nice place to stop as I was passing through town on a road trip. Good atmosphere, it had a video gaming area full of slots, even though it’s labeled a casino. I was expecting more, but it didn’t take away from the experience. Friendly staff to greater me as soon as I walked out. Would definitely come back here if I pass through again!

I understand restaurants play a balancing act between not enough and too much but this place is definitely understaffed and playing the short game, they don’t care what they run out of. The steak was over tenderized, part of it was mushy. And I asked for it rare but it was medium which tells me the person cooking it was not confident enough to serve it rare!

We had a wonderful meal here – my husband’s cousins came from Ohio and we wanted them to experience something different so after they toured the prison we decided to eat in Deer Lodge. The steaks were seasoned and cooked wonderfully, the potato wasn’t over cooked and the seafood cocktail was amazing. Definitely will go back because the prices were reasonable and the food was much better than a certain high end restaurant in Missoula. It may be a bit of a drive (2 hours) but we would happily make the trip again.
