Really enjoyed the wine. The house salad is great! Charcuterie board was not super impressive…maybe adding a jam or honey would improve. Seemed like low quality deli meat, although the cheese was pretty good. Loved the crackers on the board! The oil and bread dish was not impressive….not a lot flavor. Probably need to go back and try some of their heartier entrees. They should possibly look into a QR code order system for comedy night/events so people aren’t distracted by papers being held in the air. I know it’s better than talking during sets but still distracting. Go with a group on event nights so you’re not sitting with random strangers if you mind that and reserve early! VIP seating is worth the extra $$$$ because the metal chairs are hard on the tush and lower back during longer event nights. No bar seating. Very friendly staff but seemed understaffed. Clean!!

Driven by this place countless times and I am kicking myself for not stopping in sooner. GREAT place for a drink and some delicious bites. Shout out Emily and Evie for amazing service! Bonus points for being Veteran owned and operated.

Do not recommend on a busy night. They are understaffed and underprepared. We waited an hour for drinks and food, and they ran out of burgers which is half of the entree options to start with. Our food was good (very average). The drinks were pretty good but considering this is a bar that’s the bare minimum. This place has potential but definitely needs work. Edited to add after the reply from the owner: they hosted a trivia event this night that started at 7, so it’s common sense that there will be a lot of people arriving right before said event starts. It was exactly 1 hour from the time we walked in to the time we got our food, so no that’s not an exaggeration. There’s also no reason not to be prepared for something you are specifically promoting whether that’s an event or drink promotion. I understand it’s a busy season, but this was an honest review from a paying customer.

We love this place! Owned and operated by a fellow veteran and they welcome and appreciate everyone. We love their bacon cheeseburger with their signature anchor sauce. What I love most about this place is the welcoming atmosphere. The owner is always there it seems and makes sure to say hey and thank to all of his patrons. They have lots of different events scheduled throughout the week, like trivia and comedy shows. We just joined their “Beer Experience” club, which is such a great idea. We are glad to have found this little gem in our community.

Once again, Brunch on Sunday is full of menu surprises, easy dining, and a nice change of atmosphere and pace. Emily made sure everything was excellent, and responded to our frequent requests for something else. The red-jacketed dog with tricorn hat is my favorite btw!
We epically enjoyed the BELT sandwich, and the grits are really phenomenal with a softer texture and amazing flavors, and if you want a starter I can recommend the bread and seasoned Olive Oil, and the rich tomato bisque soup.

Relax, enjoy the pace, and check out the portraits. Great fun!

Enjoy!!!

Edit: Still keeping all of the stars, as I hope this was a one off. I placed a to go order today for bruschetta. At first I was told they were out. Okay, no big deal. Then the person said she’d check just to be sure, again no big deal. But she came back on the phone and said they did have it. So I placed my order. I just opened the box and I literally have toasted sandwich bread with the toppings. I’m disappointed because this is not bruschetta and I would have been okay not placing an order if they were out.

First time visiting. Came with a friend to catch up on the week. The place is very clean and inviting. The music was not loud so we could actually hear each other. The service was excellent. We let it be known that this was our first time visiting and we were told all of the favorites and the events that take place. They had a few drink specials which we tried. I had whiskey and coke and it was strong and delicious. My friend had 3 margaritas so I assume they were good. I also tried the Khaleesi and although it was sweet, I enjoyed it and ordered another glass. The fried pimento balls were excellent. A nice surprise. The California chicken flatbread was great too. I had the Taco and Tequila wings. I didn’t enjoy the sauce as much but the wings were cooked well. I will definitely be back to try other items and to participate in some of the events.

We were looking for a special place to celebrate a birthday! Broken Anchor was perfect! Delicious craft cocktails, great range of draft and craft beers, and food/appetizers menu that looks and tastes “gourmet”! No surprises! Broken Anchor is a great night out! Enjoy!

Had an awesome time at Broken Anchor Winery with the crew.
Staff was super friendly, the wine was flowing,
and the food was solid.

We’re not from the area but always try to hit local spots when we travel and this place definitely delivered.

Can’t wait to swing back through next time we’re in town.

LOVED it!!! Great local winery offering a full bar as well! Wine and whiskey flights available. Live Music on Fridays and Saturdays. Brunch on Sundays. And if you’re still on the fence, I have two words for you : Drunken Brownies!
Full disclosure, we had just eaten lunch so we didn’t actually try them, we were focused on sampling their spectacular wines. BUT we’ll be back, appetites at the ready!!!

Experienced Broken Anchor Winery for the first time with some friends this past Friday as well as a surprise visit from the my BIL and his wife from Indiana for my wife .. it was Elf Trivia Night and there were about 11-13 people in our party .. the adult beverages were very good along with most of the food with the exception of my Chicken Tenders as the first serving that came out from the kitchen was burnt and the replacement a little less burnt but tasted overcooked and very dry .. with that said, we would still be back as Josh who happened to be our server as well as the retired veteran owner was the differentiator in our experience with his establishment .. on a side note, my BIL who is a huge Bourbon connoisseur said that BAW has a fantastic Bourbon selection
