Had a great experience at Brody’s in Sacramento. We ordered the BBQ sampler and everything was cooked perfectly — the ribs were tender and flavorful, the sliced beef was juicy, and the sausage had a great smoky taste. The sides were just as good, especially the mac and cheese and beans, which paired really well with the meats. Portions were generous and perfect for sharing.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. The cocktails were also well made and nicely presented. Overall, a really solid BBQ spot and definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Sacramento. Looking forward to coming back

Headline: For your slow cooked meets on the Delta!
Location: Nothing like a nice hearty meal when you’ve been wine tasting on the delta and Brody’s fits the bill. Located just off of Freeport as you exit the delta, it can be easy to miss with its small parking lot and roadside off a major road but you would be really missing out not to stop by. Be forewarned that their main lot is fairly small but they do have some parking to the left side as well.
Ambiance: The main counter is sandwiched between the bar and their seating area which is open first come first serve. While it’s unassuming it’s all business at the front with staff ready to take your order as you walk in. There is also a seating area that is covered on the right for this time of year. What this place lacks in parking makes up in all the seating areas. The vibe is really road side wood building feeling which I really dig for this location .
Service/Food: Service on the restaurant side was great as they take your order up front, give you a number and you find a place to seat. The staff was friendly and attentive and we didn’t have any issues. The real deal with this place is the smoked meats. While the brisket isn’t the best I have, it still hits the spot. Of course there can be some variability depending on the day in terms of dryness but everything I’ve had these last couple trips as been satisfying and filling. Don’t skip on the corn bread and sauce as well!
Despite the parking this place is a great stop after or before a Delta visit. It has been a part of routine when we come out here with family and will continue to be!

First time here. We had the beef ribs, tri tip sandwich with salad, a side of chili and corn bread. I loved the chili! Its the best chili we have had! The corn bread was so moist and delicious didn’t even need the honey butter it came with. The beef ribs were so large. 1 was enough for me. Wasn’t a big fan of the beef ribs. The spicy bbq sauce has a great flavor and just the right amount of spiciness. Well balanced. The tri tip was tender. I would come back just for the chili. They do have breakfast items until 1pm. We will be back to try other items. I was disappointed they don’t have brisket.
Update: Came back 2 more times and we have tried the pulled pork and blt sandwiches, loaded waffle fries with tri tip, cowboy beans, pork ribs, and potato salad. Everything was superb!! No complaints. I would have liked more salt and pepper on the potato salad. I updated my stars to 5.

Amazing BBQ and Great Experience!
We’ve ordered from this restaurant several times and also dined in once — every experience has been excellent! The food is consistently delicious, flavorful, and freshly prepared.
I was emailed a coupon and it made our decision about where to pick up dinner!
My only small suggestion would be to avoid placing a side salad in the same container as a hot BBQ sandwich — by the time I got home, the salad had warmed up a bit.
Other than that, everything has been perfect! Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic, mouthwatering BBQ!

This place is exceptional when it comes to service the cooks and cashier greeted us at the door with a big smile and hello Something small is a hello from the cooks. Just makes it feel comfortable and extremely inviting.you could smell the delicious smells of barbecue coming from the cookers in the back if you enjoy tri-tip this is definitely a place for you. I had the tri-tip tacos and their waffle fries everything was excellent and they have their homemade barbecue sauce, which is extremely good. I like the spicier one myself. I’m definitely gonna be coming back if you ever on the Delta this is a place to go.

Food was bleek! I had the tri tip loaded fries and the amount of tri tip was laughable! The cheese sauce was over powering and thick the fries were already soggy when the plate was brought out! Which leaves me to believe that it was sitting there for awhile. There was more tri tip on thier sandwich! Which for the same price I would of thought the portions would be the same! All I tasted was smoke and not much flavor! To each is own! Dont be fooled by the picture most of that was the roasted peppers and onions!

We went there at a little after 5pm and it was a really good experience. I’ll start with the downside first It was a little pricey and we started out with outside seating but came back inside to eat. It was a nice evening so we decided to go out back where they had seating. There was a pesky bee that was interested in our food and after about 5 minutes of swooshing away the little bugger, he decided to bring a friend. Inside we went and didn’t have any more problems from them. We ordered the platter which was a half a rack of ribs, 1/2lb pulled pork, 1/2lb sausage and 1/2lb of tri tip. Also came with 2 sides; we got cross cut fries and chili. Plenty of food. We planned it that way to try a lot of different things. Because the food was so delicious, I didn’t mind the price tag. Good BBQ is worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back. The service was great. You walk in and place your order and then find someplace to dine. The have 3 areas for seating ( 4 if you include the bar area). They bring out the food to you. The server checked on us many and refilled our drinks. She was personable and friendly and a great asset to Brody’s. I truly enjoyed my time there. Thank you Brody’s!

We went here for the first time and it won’t be our last time. The BBQ sampler was well worth the money. Hands down best BBQ we have had in the Sacramento Area. The staff was friendly and the to go order was prepared within 10 minutes.
All the food was prepared very well and I must say the corn bread was moist and could be eaten as a dessert.
They also have a great outdoor dining area that will be great once the weather gets better (we went on rainy day).

Brodys Barbecue is an okay spot for barbecue lovers. somewhat on the pricey side for sides and didnt have an option for combo plate unless you wanted to order a portion for 3/4 adults. I ordered the ribs, tri-tip, and cornbread. The ribs were tender and flavorful, with a good smoky taste but was served cold. The tri-tip was also well-cooked, juicy, and needed more seasoning. The portion sizes were generous. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. Outdoor seating was very nice. An acceptable choice if you’re craving smokes barbecue.

Everything we ordered was good, although the chili was too spicy for me. Prices seem high but are actually reasonable for the quality/quantity of what you get. Lovely fenced outdoor settings with room for kids to run around while parents watch/eat. They said they would bring food to our table on two occasions, but I had to go ask for it each time. But they did understand “gluten free,” and double checked to make sure each item I asked about was safe for me. I think they just needed another server.
