Truly an amazing hidden gem. Not only was the food so delicious we had hand crafted burgers for
Lunch so yummy , dinner I had pasta /sauce was the best we have ever tasted he had shrimp and catfish for dinner and brunch had everything you could want from grilled sausages fresh scrambled eggs and we can’t forget the amazing mimosas we didn’t have to leave the island all weekend. This is a family owned and ran businesses sooo super friendly made sure we we’re happy with our meals and made us feel at home!!

Some of the best food I have ever had in life! And with a view of the sunset Everything I have eaten there has been a culinary experience. You know the food is good when you become a new fan of a dish. For me it was the tiramisu. OMGoodness wow! And every dish I try surprises me every time. I am starting to believe this is how meals are meant to be enjoyed. In a drive through window world it’s refreshing to slow down and really allow my 5 senses to become acquainted with various flavor experiences. Broc has definitely been blessed by God with a gift for loving on people through amazing cuisine and sweet service. I also love the charming quality of a family run business. Broc’s is one of the best family owned businesses in the area. Casual with great company. The staff makes you feel at home, and Broc makes the best food! We had a great time here for meals and karaoke! We made friends and will return. Highly recommend!

Broc’s cooking is so delicious! One night I had the awesome grilled chicken and another evening I had the chicken and beef fajitas. The meat was so tender. The background music was pleasant. Everything was so clean. His beautiful family provided the best service along with their beautiful smiles and personalities.

This was hands down the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. I’ve had better school lunches, and they charged $30 a person for pasta my 5yr old would make.
The staff were disorganized and completely untrained. The entire experience was awful. Bar drink selection was as minimal as you could get: Coors, Miller, Bush for beer. Who doesn’t have Budweiser or Shiner in Texas! Just ridiculous, this restaurant is as far from the resort experience as you can get.

We loved the casual vibe at Broc’s. Broc and his family took great care of us and he personally checked in with us several times to make sure that our food was delicious, which it was! The lemon cake was heaven! It was great to have a location that we could walk to while staying on The Island with great food and personable service.

Horrible experience!!! Don’t waste your time going to Broc’s on the Lake Travis in Lago Vista. I saw the owner yelling at a table with an elderly couple about their meal. It was outrageous and he even yelled at them to get out!!! I have never seen a grown man act in such a way as Broc did. That is no way to treat ANYONE.
The elderly couple seemed to be very sweet, and I saw them even give their waitress a cash tip on the way out regardless of the owner still yelling irately at them.
I cannot even tell you how horrified I was at seeing this event. There is no reason to be yelling at customers. I will not be coming back here ever again, and I would encourage you to read all the other one star reviews as I can see now how they are all very accurate and a good depiction of the owner.
I did notice there are several other reviews talking about his behavior, so this just goes to show you how he treats all customers.
This sad excuse for a restaurant needs to be shut down immediately.

I truly enjoyed eating and hanging out at Broc’s On The Lake. The atmosphere was nice and the people were super friendly. I enjoyed the view and the delicious pasta. I will definitely be dine again when I am back in Austin.

Very disappointed in this location, we came in and the restaurant was packed. A couple of 5, a couple of 2 and us were sitting at the bar. No one was serving us or greeting us. The cook/ owner was complaining that they would run out of food. The girl waitress told the group of 5 the cost of the seafood buffet. Which was inflated to what we were told. They stood up and left. Then the next couple they added $2.00 to the amount they told the group of 5 and they left. Then we asked again how much the buffet was and it increased again. So we walked out. That is 10 people who walked out. Hence why they don’t have a posted cost or menus. It about how busy they are as to the price. I did hear the girl say to the guy waiter that I quoted them higher.
They have beer taps and no beer on tap.
We left and went to town and all the people who left were at the restaurant in town.
Word will spread for sure on how you run your business.
