BEST DINING EXPERIENCE IN A LONGGGGG TIME! Do notttt miss this! The French onion oysters were so freaking good and the whole chicken platter might have changed my life. I thought I was a good cook until tonight. Our bartender Sterling was TOP NOTCH. Do not miss this place, sit at the bar, ask for Sterling and most importantly— get oysters and the whole chicken platter.

I am struggling to find the words to express how incredible & creative the food is at Brochu’s. My bf and I visited last Saturday evening and had an absolute feast. I wish I could remember our server’s name because he was exceptional. He recommended the jerk oysters, which were not originally on my radar, but they were my favorite dish out of the smorgasbord we ordered. It would be rad if they had an oyster sampler dish with different flavors, but I understand that might be too much of a hassle considering the effort that obviously goes into preparing them. They were just so delicious and unique I wanted to try them all

My boyfriend and I walked in on a Friday evening at 5:45/6pm for an early dinner. Immediately sat at the bar! It was a bit confusing to find on Google Maps, as the entrance is behind where the pin takes you on 40th not Maupas.

Our favorites were the shrimp chimichuri toast, bama butter oysters, and the chicken breast in the 1/2 chik dish was cooked perfectly. The sauces were really good. Very intentionally cooked and paired.

The cherry on top was the dessert, banana pudding and a special chocolate pie….based on the Little Debbie Star Chrunch, absolutely delicious.

Service was great at the bar, Sterling was a great addition to the vibe and atmosphere, left feeling good and a few local recommendations

Everything here is great, but the best food on the menu, is the oysters. All the oysters are from Tybee Island , GA and they are by far the best oysters I’ve had when in Savannah.

In addition, the servers are attentive and the drinks are fantastic! Brochu’s is now one of my “go-to restaurants” when visiting Savannah.

Walked in as a party of two on a Saturday around 6:30pm. We are seated within minutes at the bar. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and drinks. Fantastic service. Based on what we had, I suspect you would have a hard time finding anything on the menu that would disappoint. Highlight was definitely the oysters and dirty rice for us. They are also known for the full/half bird platters which will likely feed 2-3 people easily. Enjoy.

Amazing- we got the whole chicken and the fried chicken was delicious! All of it was amazing, but the dusting on the fried h chicken really took it up a notch! Our drinks were fantastic, service was excellent. I’d go back and tell everyone it’s a must go if and when in Savannah!

Food was good. Oysters are divine. Cool building. The only thing I don’t like is the way that they serve, they make you order everything up front. And then bring it all out at 1 time. So if you’re there for a dining experience and chill in talk and eat, that’s not an option.

Outstanding experience.

I can never get myself organized enough to make a reservation at such a popular restaurant and have not visited as often as I would like however after last night, I will get myself organized. We had such a fantastic experience from the second we sat until we left. Our server did an amazing job explaining all the dishes and checking in on us just the right amount.

Everything was so good. The flavours were phenomenal and it’s the most oysters I have ever eaten they were so good.

The star of the night was the Chimichurri Shrimp which was such a great dish. The presentation, the flavours and a simply as the perfect crunch in the toast.

The beef fat oysters were my favourite of the oysters.

Thank you again for such a fantastic night and for bringing such a culinary gem to Savannah

Brochus in Savannah is the kind of place you wander into thinking you know what dinner is, and walk out realizing you had no idea. The sesame-mango margarita sets the tone—balanced, grown-up, and mercifully unsweet, the kind of drink that tells you they actually care.

The fried chicken arrives like a quiet flex: shatteringly crisp, impossibly juicy, paired with a chicken-wing gravy so savory it feels almost illicit. Then there’s the fried dirty rice—dark, crunchy, studded with fried bits that hit that perfect spot between texture and indulgence.

It’s a meal that doesn’t shout. It just wins.

“Oh it’s just fried chicken”…

Trust me, it ain’t just fried chicken. This is chicken at a whole different level.

The thighs are fried (heavenly…quite possibly the best EVER). The breasts are marinated and roasted (no words). The legs are made into chicken salad, and the wings are used to make gravy.

THEN…there is the rice. ALL of the rest of the chicken is used to make the rice.

AND…biscuits, butter, and gravy. (hard to choose which one you want on your biscuit)

The appetizer was Shrimp Caesar with Chimichurri on Brioche…and it was absolutely ridiculous.

Dessert: Banana pudding (not pictured), and Buttermilk/Peach pie.

Thank you Andrew Brochu for being so creative, and for showing such great hospitality.

Thank you Lane for spectacular service.

Truly a spectacular dinner experience with “Fried Chicken” (and so much more)

If you are anywhere NEAR Savannah…this is a “go to” spot for you.
