The Oyster Bar is widely regarded as the premier New Orleans’ style restaurant, bar and music venue in the Midwest. Broadway Oyster Bar has been referred to by many as a staple of St. Louis and is a great choice for a relaxing dinner, a celebratory party or an opportunity to dance to a great band. As well known food writer, the late Joe Pollack, once wrote, There is, quite simply, nothing in St. Louis quite like the Broadway Oyster Bar. Food was insane! The best shrimp tacos & Parmesan garlic fries I’ve ever had! The seafood pasta and crab cakes were also so delicious. We would highly recommend to anyone and can’t wait to return when we visit St. Louis again!

The food here is amazing, The atmosphere is amazing, the service we received was.. you guessed it, also amazing! Eating outside while the local band plays every Wednesday was definitely a worth-it experience! They have created a really fun and unique vibe in this restaurant that was a pleasant surprise for the area it’s in. Parking was the only problem here but that’s going to be a problem almost everywhere in this city.

This places was AMAZING – it was on my list to go to but didn’t think we’d make it, stopped in for some lunch and had the voodoo shrimp pop boy. The shrimp were so good – just the right spice and crispness – French fries were stellar. Would definitely go back, our best meal on our trip.

Favorite place for shrimp po’ boys and oysters! Fantastic vibe and excellent service. Staff is nice and always do a great job. This is a must visit for anyone coming to St. Louis. Stop by before a Cards or Blues game, or go at night for live music. They also have a nice patio for outdoor seating.

Wow this place didn’t disappoint, the oysters were so fresh and tasty. The house soup was packed with flavor and that cornbread was to die for. I also got the mussels and they were steaming hot and super tasty. It looks a little sketchy from the outside but this little hole in the wall is definitely a good find.

Fish Tacos and the Oyster Sampler. Food was GREAT! The VooDoo Sauce is a nice twist. This place is really great, if you’re thinking about it…THINK NO MORE! Gotta check it out for sure. The enclosed patio or the eclectic atmosphere inside and at the bar is really cool. I double recommend.

Great pregame spot before Cardinals games for both home and away fans. The oysters are delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly and very efficient even when the place is packed. The atmosphere is a mix between beach life/dive bar and it’s overall a great experience!

Always an excellent place to visit. The food is amazing. Indoor seating and a great porch with plenty of shade which is what we always prefer. They have live bands a lot and a really fun environment. Shrimp n grits and crawfish macaroni & cheese are pictured. My favorite appetizer is their fried alligator bites. Also get the Creole Mary (spicy Bloody Mary) to get your day started!!!
