We met a large group of friends (20ish) for lunch. We had called ahead and they gave us a large room in the back. Our food all came out together and it was hot. Everyone enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Cozy diner with excellent food and service. Margaret was a superb server. The chicken and waffle was very good and came out quickly, even during the Saturday morning breakfast rush. I was seated quickly, even though there was a line of people waiting to be seated at first. I will definitely be back.

The food was great. I had the Hungry Man; 2 bacon, 2 huge sausage patties, 2 eggs, home fries and two large pancakes, all made in house everything was made in house, including the home fries. The pancakes were huge. The coffee is ground in house and is smooth even when taken black. I highly recommend this place for your breakfast needs.

This was my first experience with this establishment. It is one of my Mother’s favorite places to dine in the Lakeland/Bartow area. We had my Mother’s 80th, surprise birthday brunch here. Although everyone had ordered something different, I ordered an omelet and homefries. My breakfast was delicious. The omelet was very good, and the homefries were nearly equal to what I would have gotten in the Philly area where I was born and raised. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back for another crack at breakfast. Awesome job Broadway!!

In my previous review I did it for their breakfast. Today I went for lunch and had a Reuben sandwhich, onion rings and Coleslaw. Everything was excellent, but the Onion rings were superb. The coleslaw was a sweet coleslaw which I don’t really like, but it wasn’t terrible either, it’s just my personal preference. This is by far the best diner food I have ever had.
I have been in many diners throughout the south and the breakfast food was superb as well as the service. I think our servers name is Heidi and she did an excellent job during the whole dining process.

Ever time I’ve been here the foods been amazing. Tho the server this time completely ignored my alterations to my food (which still was delicious just not really how I asked it) and ignored my table majority of the time I was there.

We came across this place by chance and we’re delighted to recommend it to anyone who wants a good homemade breakfast or lunch. We recommed sitting in Rita’s section, her service is outstanding! We were served by Tracy twice and received very good customer service. The owner Dino runs a tight ship and does most of the cooking and knows what he’s doing. This is my favorite place to eat. Came in for late breakfast early lunch, Amanda greeted us and was very attentive and hospitable and checked back often. My table ordered the foot long Angus dog-pretty sure that’s an understatement. It came with crinkle cut fries, the dog was a bit salty, but still good. The 2-2-2 was great, pancakes were fabulous!!
