Don’t be turned away by the outside appearance of the plaza. This is a great family owned breakfast location. Prices are great and our food was also great. One was the Broadway omelette w home fries and the other was cheesy scrambled eggs and hash rows and bacon. Exactly what we were looking for.

I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a burger at Broadway Café, only to find a HAIR in it. That is completely unacceptable and beyond disgusting. Clearly, proper hygiene is not a priority in their kitchen. To make things worse, when I brought it up to the staff, they barely seemed to care—no real apology, no attempt to make it right. This is one of the most unprofessional and unsanitary dining experiences I’ve ever had. If they can’t even keep hair out of the food, I can only imagine what else goes on in that kitchen. I will NEVER be coming back, and I’d strongly advise others to think twice before eating here.

Pizza wasn’t bad. But I will say I did order and specified that one half should get a certain topping only. The only reason I mention this is because maybe someone could have an allergy? Just a thought. Salad wasn’t bad, ranch is not the best.

This was our first visit and we were greeted as soon as we came in. Restaurant was not that busy but we did hear a lot of take out orders being called in. It was a quiet and older restaurant but comfortable. I ordered the chef salad and it was excellent! Fresh lettuce, veggies and meat. Came with texas toast. Large salad too. My friend orded the pancakes with strawberries. Pancakes were good but strawberries were very soggy and bitter. She had to scrape them off the pancakes. Overall, it was a good experience. Will be back but not order fresh fruit again.

I spent my morning here. I recently got a car and I am making a point to visit local restaurants in Trotwood.
I got coffee, orange juice, bacon, hash browns and toast. Please do not judge my photos because I already started eating.
Service: The owner took my order and was super kind. She gave me a couple of suggestions for the most popular items. J was attentive to me and the phone that was ringing almost nonstop.
Food: the food was good. They made the Texas toast just like my Grams used to for me and it was fantastic (kind of like fried, griddled in butter). My hash browns came out a bit lighter than the restaurant’s usual, so she volunteered to send them back.
The prices are pretty good and the fact the neighborhood isn’t packing this place out is kind of wild to me. However, from the sound of the phone delivery and pick up is booming.
Anyway go visit another Trotwood staple.

Let me just start off by saying you can’t even order online through slice and hour before they close because they turned it off. Then I order a chicken strip dinner with double side of fry’s a ribeye steak dinner with Mac and cheese and onion rings. My chicken fingers ended up being pop corn chicken but for the same price and still only 8 pieces of popcorn chicken. Then the steak was tiny way to overpriced and was well done when I asked for rare. The side of Mac and cheese was a small dressing slice of Mac and cheese. It’s just absolutely ridiculous. Our office has a business meeting once a week and we ordered from Broadway Cafe’ through Door Dash this week. Our 8 person lunch order was perfect! The food was fresh and delicious!
