Broadway Beach House is a fun setup. There is nothing else like it in central Iowa. What else could you want! Food, beer, and friends hanging out in a swimming pool. The swimming pool water is very clean and balanced. I like the water chairs.… There is plenty of parking and you don’t have to walk 500 yards like Adventureland. I wish they had lights so they could stay open past dark.

Had an absolutely fantastic time here. We had a couple large mixed bevs in a bucket absolutely awesome. A little expensive to get in the door but the fact you have a place for adults to come and chill at the pool like we are young again with no kids was an amazing experience for my wife and I to just get away. Highly recommend a Cabana it was great to take a break and chill in the air conditioning.

Using my husbands account to post my review because I don’t have gmail and I HAVE to post about it! Absolutely FABULOUS! Idk where people are getting this upside down pineapple thing from lol but it’s weird and I didn’t get that vibe… we had a much needed moms/girls day and I will recommend it for anyone! The food was great, atmosphere was awesome, Laura(our server) was the most wonderful human! 10/10!! We tried a lot of food and drinks and everything we got was the BEST! The cabanas are cozy, they even moved something into our room without hesitation. JUST BECAUSE WE ASKED! Ugh they rock here you guys! Literally no complaints! 100% going back and those knocking it definitely don’t know fun!

A great concept. It’s a 21 and over only facility. $20 cover to get in. The rooms are all set up as cabanas instead of hotel rooms is what I was told. These can be rented for the afternoon to get in out of the heat and relax a bit. There’s a larger area in the upstairs portion at the far end, which looks like could be rented out for a larger party, such as a special event of which a location like this would make an excellent choice for a late spring to early fall bachelorette or bachelor party, or other fairweather time festivities. Was a fun, chill vibe and very relaxing. Could definitely see this concept being franchised out on the same & larger scale concepts. Would definitely go back

Visited Broadway Beach House for the first time yesterday. Although I had my reservations about it because of its prior business front, I was blown away by how nice it is. The pool is beautiful. The beach house is adorable. $5 Friday entries all summer. I will definitely be back. And I’m glad I didn’t let my preconceived notions stop me from going!

This is a great addition to the Des Moines metro. Pool area is clean. Nice renovations being done. Atmosphere is welcoming. Good choice of music.
Things to note before visiting:
– Management frequently changes without much notice – hours, menus, events and pricing so be flexible.
– Bring sunscreen and hats. There is no shaded lounging areas on pool deck. Must be at a dinner table or in a private hotel room/cabana for shade.
– No bar tabs, so you have to keep your card on you for each transaction.
– Have cash on you for admission into the pool or you have to use their ATM and pay fees.

The pool is large, clean and so are the bathrooms. Huge WIN!
Will your drinks get warm? We ordered beer and seltzers and they place them in a bucket with ice. So we didn’t have to keep running back to the bar for each drink. Was amazing!!
Food- I’m picky, so watched a few people order a burger, than my friends ordered. I finally ordered it was SO good!!
Oh and no KIDS!!!
Don’t over think all the questions you have. Just go, get a beach chair, order a drink and enjoy your day!!!

I was very excited to have a girls day at the beach house today, but when our group arrived at 3pm the employees were pulling out of the parking lot and yelled out their car windows “We closed.” There was nothing posted on their FB page about closing early.
I likely will not attempt to go back. Not worth the drive.

Unfortunately, I was only able to look at the pool from the outside. It looked nice & clean from there. However, I showed up at least an hour before closing time on a weekday and they didn’t allow me to enter. I was very disappointed as I was wanting to catch up on some R&R and enjoy my evening and I drove 30 minutes to catch some rays at this new talked about adult-only pool. It’s difficult to get to the pool more than an hour before closing time if you live on the west side of the metro. Very disappointing situation! Make sure to show up at least an hour in advance of closing time to be able to enter.
