My partner and I are traveling from down south and were craving good barbecue. This place hit the spot! The owner was super friendly and even let us sample a few things. We ordered the chicken wings, pulled pork sandwich, potato salad, slaw, baked beans, and mac and cheese everything was homemade and a 10/10. Definitely more of a lunch spot since the food’s cooked earlier in the day, but absolutely worth the stop!

Some of the best bbq I’ve had in forever. Id seen the truck on Johnstown but never while they’re open and had been wanting to try it forever. Finally caught them today and it was truly worth the wait. Amazing customer service, he was even kind enough to let me and my husband have a sample (we were both quickly hooked). The prices are great too for the proportions. Will most definitely be buying from them again.

The food was incredible. We were driving through town and stopped specifically to try it. We ordered the fish and ribs and tried a little pulled pork! All were so good. Some of the best BBQ. The fish was so crispy – honestly perfect. The ribs were fall off the bone, so tender. The beans had a secret ingredient that I couldn’t place but I’ll be thinking about for long after!!! I wish I lived closer to Beckley!!!! Stop here and try the food!!!! The owners were so kind. Wish them success

If I ever have to pick a last meal, this will be it. I’ve had ribs all over the county and nothing can touch Brother Marsh’s. His sauce is the best, perfect bark and cook on the ribs, the wings have the most satisfying crunch I’ve ever had on a piece of chicken, and the sides deserve their own awards category.
This man cooks with love, and you can feel it every bite. No short cuts, no cheap tricks, he does low and slow in a pit right beside his truck. The staff is so friendly and helpful, but most importantly you can tell they are proud of their food, as they should be. This BBQ stands head and shoulders above anything around.
Everything is amazing, but be sure to get ribs and greens at a minimum.

It’s become a tradition to stop for lunch at BBQ joints whenever we’re on a road trip. Since the start of this tradition, we’ve made a point to explore different places each time, but after experiencing the excellence of Bro Marsh BBQ, it’s going to be a challenge to deviate from this new favorite.
It’s fair to say that Bro Marsh’s homemade BBQ sauce has made a life altering impression on my taste buds.
It’s been a few days since our visit and I’ve been craving it’s delightfully unique flavor
I will not even try to describe it, you must try it for yourself.
We opted for chicken wing dinners, accompanied by sides of mac and cheese, collard greens, baked beans, and onion rings. The fried chicken arrived with a crispy, golden perfection. Each satisfying bite was bursting with flavor; although no sauce was needed, the combination of the chicken and BBQ sauce was truly delectable.
The sides were on par with the quality of the chicken, prepared with the same care and pride. Every dish was equally mouthwatering.
Despite the generous portions, it was a challenge not to clean our plates – the food was just that irresistible.
During our visit, we had the pleasure of chatting with Bro Marsh himself, and his passion for his craft was evident. The care and dedication he pours into his food is palpable, and it’s part of what makes the experience so exceptional.
It’s safe to say that we’re committed to making Bro Marsh’s BBQ a mandatory stop on each journey the foreseeable future.
Missing out on any everything else on the menu would be nothing short of a mistake and equally as big as the one you’d be making by not eating there yourself.

I didn’t even get to take a photo because I devoured it ASAP. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and let me tell yall, it was tender, juicy, flavorful, EVERYTHING. My husband ordered the ribs and man, they were just as DELICIOUS!!! The sauce (homemade) was out of this world. if you want GOOD bbq, come here nowwww. Thank you so much!!!!!

Best BBQ ribs around, everything made from scratch including the sides. Homemade chili is delicious. The pulled pork sandwich was also really good. I’ll definitely be a regular now that I found this place. The owners are nice as could be.
