Stopped by on a busy Friday night, ordered a veggie pizza no olives, with a coconut cocktail. Walked in there was a younger guy and girl hosting. The girl didnt speak, but the guy welcomed me in shortly after he finished doing something. Waiter was amazing, food was great. Only complaints would be I felt like the cocktail was weak and the building felt small like everyone was supper close.

Stopped here for an early lunch. Service was great and pizza is delicious. I believe it’s gotten better since the last time I ate here about 8 years ago. Atmosphere was hard to judge on a Saturday afternoon but I imagine at night, with good weather, it’s likely chill and easy going.

We decided to try this place out this weekend. When we walked in we were only the second table in the entire restaurant on a Friday night. We awkwardly stood at the door while multiple people saw us and didn’t say anything until a nice young man came over. The other table was leaving, so we ended up being the only patrons there almost immediately. The waitress was kind, but maybe new. Took awhile to get our order and our drink refills. She was sweet though, and seemed to care. The end of the night is why i am leaving this review. The manager, well I assume the manager was berating (and loudly and rudely) speaking to a staff member in the dining room. We wanted to leave badly as we felt so bad for him he was kind to us and came to check on us when he realized our waitress was taking awhile. Anyways she should not have berated him publicly with staff and diners present. The waitress apologized to us when she saw our discomfort. Just not a great dining experience.

Nice place to grab a quick lunch. Was not busy. Waitress was really nice. The chorizo sauce and bread sticks where amazing. Soft inside nice crunch outside. The bruschetta had a good strong flavor, just the way I like it.

Always in the mood for the Caesar salad with blackened chicken. Portioned right (small is enough for one). The reason for 4 rather than 5 is due to the speed of service. Came in at 6, got my food at 6:25. Other than that – delish!

Another great meal at Brixx!! Thank you Victor! The pizza is always super good and their beer selection is great for dark beer drinkers. Monday “fun day” offers drink deals too!

Brixx is one of my absolute favorite pizza places!! The sweet family (extended) that runs it is amazing. They always have a smile on their faces and are enthusiastic about interacting with their customers. We typically get the 4×4 pizzas when we go as a family, and the olive oil base makes it even more delicious! Our 7 year old is Celiac, and we just let them know, and they make the GF crusted pizza on the metal pan. We have also tried their cauliflower crust pizza and it was good, but I think it would be better if it wasn’t baked on the metal pan-which isn’t really an option for us, so we will stick with the normal GF crust! The pictures attached are from a recent lunch date with a friend. The one is the White Pizza, she opted for no goat cheese (silly girl, goat cheese is amazing!), and the other is the Mad Italian Pizza. Once again, I was not disappointed by the service or the food! We love Brixx!

I have tried to go to this place a few times since I moved to Southern Pines in January. They have signs for all these dates they won’t be open, so I went again today since it wasn’t one of them. Two bartenders did not even acknowledge me, nor did the waiter. I stood by the bar for a bit before walking out because of the lack of service.

Pros:
Very fresh/hot food
Nice atmosphere
Kids can draw on the walls (chalk)
Server was very polite
Cons:
Small portion (single serve for adult)
Little expensive
Cups sweat a lot, which means water puddles will be all over the table (if you have lots of guests)
*Didn’t like that the host exposed his boxers to my wife/kids as he opened the door for us. Maybe be more mindful of your clothing choices in a restaurant.

The Brixx wood fire pizza in southern pines is the best one I’ve ever been to. Not only is it the best (healthiest) pizza place in all of Moore county, but the service is also phenomenal. Aside from pizza, there’s so many other options a lot of people don’t know about, it’s not just your run of the mill pizza joint… they have pastas, sandwiches, salads, salmon, shrimp, chicken wings, protein bowls… their draft beer section is also very impressive and I love the desert selection they have.
I can’t say enough good things about the owners Wayne and Iris. Iris personally works the bar and serves sometimes. I’ve also seen her in the kitchen on multiple occasions, she truly does it all.
Due to covid, the staff has taken a hit, as people would rather collect unemployment than work, but despite that, this restaurant is like the little engine that could. I’ve been in here on multiple occasions where the entire place was filled with customers, while only 3 staff were at hand, and they were somehow miraculously managing to serve everyone. I think this is a pretty common occurrence here, especially on weekends, so it’s important to note.
PRO TIP- if you do eat at this wonderful establishment, please speak up and use your words. They are very obviously understaffed because of the current times we’re in. If you come in, find a place and just sit down and then tell a waitress you just got in and want to order. Don’t just wait for someone to attend you as they are always extremely busy, either in the front or in the back doing prep… If you feel like something is taking too long, again use your words, check in your order, they key is to ask.
This is a family run business (yes Brixx is a franchise, but this one is owned by a family that is local) and I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences here, they work with you if there is a problem (food comes out late or they make a mistake) overall one of the best dinning experiences I’ve ever had
