This spot has become my favorite place for meals with friends or family. Service stays exceptional, the menu delivers real quality, plus nothing nearby comes close. Brix filled the space left after Franklin Steakhouse closed in Nutley, yet it shines in its own way. If I had discovered this level of food earlier, I would have visited far more often. Every dish hits the mark. I fully recommend giving it a try.

Had to pickup grub for the folks, no one at home felt like cooking. We opt for Brix, I try calling in the order at least twice, early Sunday eve, nobody picks up. Didn’t feel like online ordering so I went in person. First time there, if you’ve ever been to a Bensi or Cento in the 90’s, it’s similar: a mashup of a smaller local-feeling restaurant and a bar, usually in a strip mall, with minimal character. This place felt like being in a big loud boom box. Only a few lost souls in there, mostly at the bar, mixed crowd, some dining at tables. Club music was blaring. Why? I think they also have upstairs seating, I have no idea. This isn’t really a fancy destination, it’s a so-so kinda pub. 1 or 2 Halloween decorations hung up as an afterthought. The 2 bartenders doing everything seemed friendly enough but were really busy. I put my order in, got a pint of IPA and took a back seat at a hi-top with NFL on about 5 big screens. Was told my order would be 25 mins. After a while I noticed a few groups of ppl loitering in the lobby area bc a sign there states Wait to be Seated, but the hostess booth was empty, so they had no idea how to seat themselves without an app and were just staring into the place waiting for William Shatner to re-enter orbit and guide their lives. And the bartenders were too busy to assist. That right there told me this place needs a polish. Like they setup this loungy place and just hit cruise control. My meal ended up taking about 45 mins instead of 25 but I kept my cool. Three meals to go, a beer and tip = $100. I brought the food home and we did enjoy it, if a bit salty. I got a single, slightly-tough and not huge pork chop with hot peppers and onions (no sides included, just some bread, $30) Expected a little more there. Mom got an almond crusted salmon with broccoli and mashed, dad got the linguini and clams (shells included). They said they enjoyed their meals. The place was clean overall, it just wasn’t anything special like your first time at Epcot Center. One thing I did not like was the optional bill pricing with cash v credit. That’s tacky, just keep it one price. Overall Brix is a mediocre, rough around some edges lounge with decent food if your options are slim.

I will never order from this place ever again. I ordered $12 truffle fries and it arrived as shown in the picture, half empty. The price, for the amount of food, just didn’t match. I paid extra for an extra cheese pizza and they give you a plain cheese slice as if I can’t tell the difference. No thank you, never again.

I have lived in Belleville since 2001 and never knew a restaurant with this quality of food was so close. I’m making up for it now, every Wednesday and Sunday night during karaoke. The Karaoke is welcoming on Sundays and Wednesday. Sundays the Karaoke isn’t too crowded and is a bit more personal. Wednesday can be a bit more livelier but might have to wait a while for your turn depending on when you get there. Sundays starts at 8pm and Wednesday starts at 9pm.

We stopped by here since most other Brunch places were packed or had a long wait. The venue is very large, much bigger than expected. The menu is also very extensive! They even have a special brunch menu to choose from. We got the canoli French toast to start. We should have ended with this since it was super sweet. It did taste great though. We also got the Truffle fries with cheese. The cheese overtook the taste of the Truffle which was a shame. But it was a nice portion size. We also got the eggplant stack which is made with vodka sauce. This was well made with a great sauce to eggplant ratio. The last thing the others got was the spicy pizza which I don’t remember the name of. It was huge, piping hot, and well topped. Everyone loved that as well. We also paired everything with a pitcher of white sangria which was sweet and savory. The service was nice, portion sizes were great and the price was also fair. I would definitely return.

What a fantastic pizza joint. Great for watching the game and catching a bite. Happy hour specials are delicious and reasonable. And the chicken vodka pizza was delicious! Service is pretty good too. Came in on a Sunday afternoon and had no wait either.

The restaurant looks very stylish, but the wait for our order was quite long. The food is tasty, but the portions are small for the price. The staff tries hard, but at times can be inattentive. Good for trying new dishes, but not ideal for a quick meal.

I went here at 4:30 on Saturday night, there was 3 ppl at the bar. I sat order food and waited a long time for a salad and pizza. Waitress and dropped of the food and Bert came back. Didn’t ask us if we wanted a refill on drinks or nothing. Finally a waitress came over now this being a different one handed my the check ! I said can I get more water and we’d like dessert, she thanked me walked away all mad. Listen it’s not my fault I walked in the bathroom and saw you vaping and I also walked pass the office and there was 5 person in there vaping as well !! Wow has this place changed when they hired new managers. No I see front end staff wear sweat pants and hoodies. Trust and believe the food isn’t worth going back and I have let it known to friends who go there all the time.

Went there for dinner on a weeknight, it was pretty empty so seated immediately. They gave us bread to start, which was extremely dry, it felt like they weren’t used for days. We ordered vodka sauce pasta and chicken entree. The vodka sauce pasta was very salty and very saucy, it was barely edible. I threw away more than half. The chicken was decent. Wouldn’t go again. And definitely overpriced for the quality of food.
