While some folks seem to enjoy the atmosphere, my husband and I did not. The bright lights and loud dance-pop music – atypical for wine bar atmosphere – were a bit jarring while trying to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Also, I think it’s a bit weird to display nice wine bottles on industrial metal racks, the kind from Home Depot or the BOH at a restaurant. Overall, the vibe at Brix is off.

Stopped here for a drink and charcuterie board before a dinner reservation. Pretty good drink selection. My cocktail was pretty good but nothing crazy. I think I was expecting a bit more variety on the drink side. Our table split a small charcuterie board which we really enjoyed and I felt the price was good too. Would come back to try other menu items and more charcuterie.

Great conversation with the host, took advantage of their before 5pm pricing and landed a sweet cheese plate. Felt like a treat for a busy mother of 4 and FT working woman. Every day like this would be delightful. Cheers.
