Service was good. Wait time for food was good. Mocktail and draft cider were good. Mocktail was inconsistent though. I ordered the Blackberry Ranch water. First one was tart, second one was super sweet. Inconsistency from the bar was a bit of a red flag. Complimentary champagne/cider upon seating was a nice touch.
The prices are white tablecloth, but the ambience is not.
Red Kale Caesar Salad: Good. Served on a large cracker. Smoked salmon in the dressing added a layer that was really nice! Probably my favorite thing we had.
Fondue: Good! Very sharp. Apples balanced it nicely.
Entrees arrived which is when things turned very south.
Calamari Linguine: left a lot to be desired. Lacked flavor and depth. Very bland. Some of the calamari was rubbery.
Beef Shank: The preparation was interesting, it was shredded and then pressed into a patty to look like a steak. Came with four baby potatoes. The Beef must have been pan fried or on a griddle as it was crunchy, not a light crispness, crunchy and some parts burnt. My husband was not pleased.
We went on Valentine’s Day which is supposed to be restaurants A-game. This was a lackluster experience so we will not be returning especially at the $145 bill level for two people.
Reservations strongly suggested.
I’d recommend Green House.

We’ve been to Brix 25 three times now, and it’s consistently excellent. The osso buco is outstanding—tender, flavorful, and perfectly executed. Everything we’ve ordered has been top-notch, and the service is always spot-on: attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Great waterfront vibes in Gig Harbor. We’ll keep coming back—highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing food and service. We went here for my birthday and they really made an effort to make my meal special. Our favorite menu items of the evening: Alaskan halibut with fried green tomatoes, prime ny steak, and duck fat fried brussel sprouts. Favorite cocktails: monk’s sonata, la fiorella, and northwest old fashioned.

We’ve been wanting to come here for so long! They’re only open on limited days each week, so finding the right time was tricky — but we finally made it! And it was everything we hoped it would be.
We had a reservation and arrived a few minutes late, but they welcomed us warmly and guided us straight to a beautifully prepared table without even a hint of annoyance. To our delight, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne as soon as we arrived — such a lovely touch that set the tone for the rest of the evening.
The interior has a modern, wooden feel — clean, spacious, and full of natural light thanks to the white-themed decor. Tables are spaced well for a sense of privacy. The restaurant has three seating options: a ground floor, an upstairs area, and a terrace — and you can choose where to sit. We opted for the ground floor, which was cozy and calm. Parking is also available, which is a big plus.
We also noticed a family dining with a baby, which was nice to see — it’s definitely a kid-friendly place.
For starters, we enjoyed crackers served with cambozola and chutney — absolutely delicious. They even brought extra crackers without us asking. Alongside this, the Mexican-flavored black bean soup, garnished with crispy tortilla chips, perfectly enhanced the flavors. Such thoughtful service!
We tried two cocktails. The first was a sweet yet bold combination of rum, maple, and chocolate(Oaxacan Bloom). The second was a sparkling cocktail with mint, coconut, lime and a touch of jalapeño(Spicy Coconut Mojito) — super refreshing with just the right kick. Unfortunately, we forgot to take a photo, but it was as beautiful as it was tasty!
For the main course, we had the steak and the pork chop. Both were cooked to perfection. The pork came with a slightly spicy, sweet sauce that paired beautifully. And the mashed fried plantains on the side? We seriously want to learn how to make them at home — so unique and tasty! The grilled veggies were lightly smoked and perfectly done. Everything was spot on.
While we chose meat dishes this time, the menu also includes seafood and vegetarian options. Next time, we’re definitely trying the seafood!
The portions were generous, so we, unfortunately, didn’t make it to dessert this time… but next time, for sure!
We’ll definitely be coming back.

We loved this charming restaurant on the Gig Harbor waterfront. Coming in around 4:30 on a weekday was a good idea, as it starts to get busy a little before dinner time. Lots of interesting menu selections for both food and cocktails. They also have a nice wine list; the highlight for me was finding they had my favorite wine, Pursued by Bear (Bear Cub Red Blend), by the bottle or glass!
The Thai lettuce cups were excellent as were the drinks and service. We’re definitely coming back to try out some different menu items.

Our server was absolutely fantastic! The hosts went above and beyond to honor and acknowledge our reservation requests for seating… They had non-alcoholic mocktails, which was really nice since I’m currently pregnant and avoiding alcohol. The food had some stand outs- We adored the made-in-house sourdough bread and artisan compound butter (blackberry balsamic ganache ), the filet mignon special, the mushroom parmesan campanelle, and the dessert special peanut butter blondie with salted caramel ice cream and blackberry jam. I ordered the dark chocolate “creme brulee” and was surprised that I really did not like it. I’m a dark chocolate fan but it was really bitter and not balanced with enough sweetness or salt or maybe both. I admitted my feelings to our excellent server when she asked and she immediately took care of it and offered me something else. I tried the tiramisu instead and it was delicious! The Buttercream and the Chantilly cream with the cocoa nibs were just wonderful. The “ladyfingers” were weirdly dense, like flat pancakes… but the cream was so good, we still really enjoyed it. We also tried the wilted arugula salad and the hamachi crudo which were both solid but not favorites. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We were treated so well and the food was overall very worth the price. We can’t wait to come back!

This was an amazing dining experience. They start by offering champagne or cider as a na option. The short ribs and pulled pork fried rice were my favorite of what we tried. Though you might think to skip bread and butter with all the other delicious things on the menu, the homemade sourdough loaf was so amazing! The appetizer of halibut confit was also delicious in warmed oil with olives and sundried tomatoes. To top off the night the most delicious tiramisu I’ve ever tasted between layers of pancake and drizzled with hot sweet coffee tableside. We also had a very tasty wyagu Aussie NY steak, this larb lettuce wrapped chicken cups, warm chutney cambozola cheese, and honey salmon with delicious corn bread. The service was excellent and the view is great.

Dining at this restaurant was a fantastic journey starting with the free glass of champagne as we sat down. The service team was impeccable with everybody helping each other to make sure the customers were taking care of. The decor was a freshened up crisp version of a beach house. I tried two different gin drinks both unique and fresh. My husband enjoyed his perfectly executed old-fashioned. Every dish we tried had layers of complex flavors and textures. Some of which you wouldn’t think go well together like the grilled octopus with potatoes or the sauce for the steak that seemed to be almost African inspired with a hint of cinnamon. The pickle the vegetables had a great presentation with a sauce that was so complementary and elegantly presented I would take that over a salad any day. The carrot cake was decadent and moist with the opposing texture of candy carrot on top that this was probably one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. This will be on our list for a top go to restaurant for special occasions. Heck, I think if I live closer I’d just go there all the time!

We loved it. Friendly staff and really great food. Honestly the most cost effective dinner we have had in a long time. I wish it wasn’t a 2hr drive or we would visit frequently.
