I’m really picky with my bbq and never review a spot unless it’s truly worthy, and this place has gained its position in my Top 5 Best BBQ in Los Angeles. You see, LA isn’t known for good American bbq at all, and a lot of places around are overhyped and just not tasty – usually dry and overly sauced with sugary bbq sauce.

My partner and I were in the area for the first time and starving, and she found this place on google. The reviews seemed promising, so we decided to give it a try. We haven’t heard anything about Britt’s BBQ before and were hesitant at first to swing by, but our intuition told us that we should go, and so we did.

We found a spot to park in the rear and headed inside. The restaurant has a rustic vibe with LOTS of beautiful succulents spread throughout. We happened to walk in when there was a large group of people taking up all of the inside tables, taking it as a sign that they are about slammed. No worries; since we work in the service industry, we totally understood the chaos and were willing to wait.

We order at the counter, getting a 2 plate and 3 plate meal with a side of tots. About 30-45 minutes pass by until we get our food. The runner was super apologetic and sincere, and we were ready to grub! The food looked amazing. My only gripe was that I should’ve asked for the sauce on the side had I known it would be smothered.

But let me tell you…the sauce was absolutely PERFECT with the right amount of heat. Didn’t regret having the plate sauced up at all, and I usually always get any sauce on any food on the side. The meats? Brisket was tender and amazing. Hot link was juicy and delicious. Pork ribs were slightly dry but tasty. Oh, and my favorite style of potatoes, the tater tots, were super crispy! The baked beans were incredible (just could use some chunks of brisket or pork), and the Mac and cheese was impressive.

I cannot say enough great things about Britt’s BBQ. The food, the service, the vibes, and they had sports playing on their TV. I am enamored with this BBQ joint and will definitely make the trip out to El Segundo just to eat their food again.

Britt’s BBQ, bravo! You guys deserve more recognition. See you again soon!

I loved this place! You get a LOT of yummy food for a good price (especially for California). The Britt Bowl (brisket, pulled pork, and kielbasa) is huge – definitely ask for a to-go container. I wish they had a liquor license, but I don’t think I had room for beer after all that meat!

Where do I even start?
The portions are generous especially at that price point! The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. And the service is fast and very friendly! Can’t wait to come back and try more of their stuff

We love this place. The staff are nice and attentive and call you “boss.” All the meats are tender juicy and flavorful. The sides are bold not boring. And definitely dont miss out on the pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese and crusted cheesy bread it is lights out.

Surprised in a good way. Don’t live in the area but was craving BBQ. 2 meat combo was bigger than expected. The taste of the ribs was on point, beans had a nice kick, and mac & cheese was hitting. The bbq sauce was great & had spices with a little heat. Would give 4.5 stars with 5 being perfect

Bought the 2 meat combo….brisket and BBQ chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and a side of BBQ beans..and a half rack of baby back ribs side salad and corn bread…food was on point…loved the chicken and ribs over the brisket..mashed potatoes were tasty no gravy available but not necessarily a bad thing…the beans have hint of spiciness that slightly kicks in…dipped a piece of the buttery corn bread into the beans and oh man that hint the spot..paid $63-$67 bucks..it was a lot of food..good deal easily would feed 3 people..food over all was good …parking in the back…nice clean location…service was super good I initially tipped at the register dropping a few bucks into a plastic container but I left a second tip at the table cause the young man working there was super attentive and genuinely a good person even offered the availability of the restroom and brought out a box as he observed that we had three ribs left over…honesty food was crazy good …im a big fan of Harris Ranch off the 5 freeway up in the central valley ..but im from los angeles and out at the beach in the el segundo area several times a week…definitely will stop by again

We ordered a side of fries and three sandwiches: tri tip, pulled pork and hot link. Two were combos with a drink and an extra side. The food was absolutely delicious! The tri-tip sandwich was stuffed to overflowing with the most delicious tri-tip. The pulled pork was similarly abundant. My husband loved the hot link. The fries were really good, long skinny fries with seasoned salt. The coleslaw was a little drier and bit less sweet than we would like but it was still decent and fresh.

The service was great and all the staff seemed very warm and friendly.

The environment was charming with a lot of wood and touches of classic bistro style. There aren’t many tables so come early if you plan to dine in.

I did find the final price higher than I was aiming at for a lunch. There was however a lot of premium meat in the sandwiches and it was all clearly prepared with great attention to perfection. Next time I will just watch my add-ons and maybe do pick-up instead to lower the tab a bit.

I would definitely come here for catering.

This place is a have-to-try in my book! I really can’t describe how delicious that tri-tip is; craving it again a day later.

Pretty solid option.
– Fairly priced with large portions
– Decent set of optioms
– The food was pretty good, but there were some foods I did not enjoy. The main sauce is solid with a good amount of spice though.

Regardless: I recommend it. The pork taquitos are quite good.
