I enjoyed the Wild Rice Benedict, which was a unique and delicious take on a classic, along with some perfectly crispy hash and fresh, hot coffee. Everything from the food to the cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff was wonderful. This has become an essential stop for me anytime I’m in town. Highly recommended!

VERY good place to go for breakfast They have LARGE portions so bring your appetite. The service was good even with it being busy. I had the veggie stuffed hashbrowns and my son had the biscuits & gravy, eggs, bacon and hashbrowns.

This was my first time visiting Britton’s Café, and I was pleasantly surprised by how great it is. The portions are very generous—one dish is more than enough to satisfy your hunger. The hot chocolate with whipped cream is absolutely delicious, and the side of extra potatoes is practically a full meal on its own! The coffee is also very tasty.
The staff is incredibly friendly and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is outstanding. In my opinion, this restaurant deserves top marks: great quality, fair prices, and the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with family.

Solid spot. Nice little café, diner style, in the heart of Ely. I was in the mood for stuffed hash browns and they did not disappoint! Fresh baked bread a huge plus. We’re going back to try the crepes and waffles. Very good service. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars all around was because we really wished there was homemade jam for the bread! Cash/check only. Dont forget your souvenir t-shirt on the way out, these are worth it!

This is one of those “cash only with an attitude” establishments. The food is FORGETTABLE. The pancakes are garbage. Everything else is just ok. They are benefitting off being the only established breakfast place in town. I’d never go again it just wasn’t very good or worth it. The waitress was pleasant the restaurant was clean.

Finally made it back for my second review and what a change. It was very busy but got in quite fast had pancakes that are HUGE and French Toast. Everything was fresh and hot. Service was great. Thank you. We will be back.

Deliciously huge breakfasts! Come hungry but have patience. It’s a very busy restaurant and as such service is slow and very limited seating on busy mornings. But the portions are huge, staff very friendly, and food is really good. My only complaint is that the biscuits & gravy didn’t have any sausage in it…it was literally just gravy. Every other restaurant I’ve ever been too always has bits of sausage in with the gravy. But the pancakes are HUGE as are the omelettes. The wild blueberry waffles are incredible! I can see why this is a popular breakfast spot.
