Wanted a bite before our show at the Orpheum Theater. Very friendly service at Brit’s Pub. Peter J. was our server and was very attentive with our table. Checked in a couple times and made sure if we needed anything else. I didn’t catch the host name but excellent first person of contact within the restaurant. Food was delicious (salad could’ve been better but I was here for the shepherd’s pie) and the atmosphere was nice.

Had the scotch eggs, really tasty, crispy and the mustard sauce had just a hint of a bite. My wife had the fish and chips, everything was perfectly fried and crispy. Very well seasoned and delicious. I had their smash burger, well, because I hadn’t had a burger in a long while and it looked too good to say pass. It was as good as it looked, though I burned my tongue bon burger grease. Such sacrifices.

Very fun work event here. Great for groups. Food is large portions and a little heavy…as it hearty. I was too full with apps and a main entree but a great selection and everything was cooked well. Strong cocktails. We did lawn bowling for an hour and had so much fun. Lots of laughs.

The restaurant space is amazing – huge British pub vibe (hence the name). Very busy. Food came quickly. Waitress was fine, but really busy and quick with any stops to our table. My husband had the fish fry. It looked very good and he liked it. Two people in our party got the shepherd’s pie and said it was fantastic. Two of us ordered burgers. Nothing special really. The chips and fries that came with the burgers were very good.

Christmas tea with the Victorian carolers will thaw your icy grinch heart! The room was beautifully decorated, food and tea were excellent (great quality tea!), service is great, and these carolers are incredible, funny, talented performers who put on a SHOW. My only regret was not stuffing my pockets with cash for bigger tips. Will insist my family brings me here every year.

I’ve attended a few different afternoon teas, & Brit’s stood out. Unlike some other places in the Twin Cities, Brit’s made it easy for this vegan to not only participate but indulge in all the frills (they also have GF, DF & vegetarian options). They took my diet seriously with three different staff coming out to describe each food item (also listed on the online & in-person menus) after two staff had confirmed my vegan order.
It seemed we had a server to ourselves, & they were attentive without being intrusive. Our tea, food, refills & bill all came without delay. We had a window seat in the corner in what may as well have been a private room. The food & tea were thoughtfully & beautifully arranged as well as yummy! The desserts were unique, too. We were both full by the end.
Reservations were easy, & the weekday availability made it possible for us to get in immediately. Other places require booking months out! Brit’s also had the lowest price in town.
Don’t waste your time on waiting lists elsewhere when a delicious, affordable & timely option with great service, fit to accommodate most diets, is available at Brit’s.

Out of towner here. Stopped in because we’d heard good things, and they did not disappoint! I had the shepherd’s pie and my buddy had the 2-piece fish a chips. I wasn’t a fan of the salad that came with the pie, but that’s a matter of personal preference. The shepherds pie itself was delicious! Pretzel bites were good too. My buddy said the fish was delicious but two pieces was too much – big portions!

We loved eating here. The atmosphere is fun and the rooftop seating is fantastic. We had the sampler, spinach artichoke dip, and a few cocktails. All of the food and drinks were great and our server was very friendly and attentive. When we left, a trivia game had started. It was pretty busy on the Wednesday night we visited.

Okay, I told ya I’d give you the review, so here goes.
Very private, there was another table that came as we were wrapping up. They had the table set for us as we arrived. Then we all got to pick a tea and received our own tea pot. They had creamer packs, packet honey, rustic sugar cubes, and lemon segments.
A little while after getting the tea we received the tiered tower of treats and sandwiches.
The classic cucumber, a sundress tomato pesto turkey, and curried egg salad in a croissant. All tasty. The top was fruit, cheeses, which included one of my all time
Favorites, sage derby. Also there was a lavender tea cake which was dense yet the lavender was very tasty, it went well with the accompanying clotted cream, and jarred blackberry jam and honey.
The bottom was sweets, I can only speak for the little chocolate pudding which was good. I heard the macaroons were great, there were two kinds, but at that point I couldn’t even look. lol. Also blueberry scone.
Well worth the price of under $40 a person. And worth the drive. They had their own parking ramp and it was easy in and out.
