I love this place…I only give service a 4 star due to my recent trip to the British Pub…We had just come from the beach and it was about 8pm on a Saturday evening…we were promptly seated and got our drinks…in reviewing the menu I ordered a rueben and my wife wanted the Saturday special. We were informed that you can not get Ruebens after 3pm or something like that…very weird and I came to the British Pub specifically for this sandwedge as they like to call them Then we were also informed that they were also out of the special. So my wife ordered fish and chips and I ordered the Banger dish. Once our food arrived it was very tasty – yet i determined that the wrong dish had been delivered i even told my wife this is the wrong dish but it is delicios…I did not really care as the wrong dish was delicious and just kept moving along with our dinner…here is where the 4 star comes in. About half way through our dinner we noticed our server and several other employees looking at us with a concerned look. I told my wife…look they are talking about us and they realized they served us the wrong dinner item…instead of a manager coming over and speaking with us they sent the server over. I hate it when managment is afraid to deal with the challenges. The server came over and confirmed my initial thoughts that they had in fact served us the wrong meal. The server asked me if I wanted the to cook the correct meal. I politely refused as I enjoyed the meal that had been prepared. A good manager would have come over and thanked us for being so understanding or offered to comp a drink or something like that…but nothing. The fact that the manager or owner could not take the time to at least apologize bothers me. I will still go back because the food here is very good…but management should understand that your customers are your liffeblood and not everyone will be as understanding as we were and may not give a favorable review even when we had a not so perfect experience.

Linda is outstanding! She knows the menu well. Food seems like it is all made in-house. Portions are large. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is very cool. It looks like the inside of a house. Just came back. Michelle is also wonderful. Everything perfect.

First time here and very impressed! Just a warm, welcoming, good food and good vibe pub with good prices! Liver and onions was plentiful and tasty! Definitely Homestyle!
Meatloaf dinner couldn’t have been better! Another flavorful and homestyle comfort food! Definitely will be back again and again!
And as a woman, I was impressed with the ladies room! Check it out and you will see what I mean!

A favorite place to eat while in Fort Myers, Florida. This restaurant is British themed (even celebrate New Years on UK time! Which is great because you do not have to stay up until midnight to celebrate New Years!)

This visit I had the Chicken Wellington, which was delicious! We also had the Sausage Roll appetizers which were very good! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the awesome weather while watching Ohio State on the TVs. The service was excellent and never let our glasses run dry.

First visit tonight. Food was outstanding, fish and chips, pork chop dinner. The cole slaw was the best I’ve had in a restaurant. The mash, stuffing and peas & carrots were spot on as well. Excellent service, Linda exceeded our expectations. The restaurant was neat, clean and orderly. Fun decor with happy employees. Ended the meal with a warm peach cobbler, yummy!!

Gave 3 stars for food. My ribeye was so filled with grizzle it was a chore to cut, eat around and had to leave half on the plate. Service was friendly. Stay away from the ribeye and you could be Ok.

Food was great. Blackened chicken sandwich and onion rings were very good. I was there at lunch on Sunday. They were so busy my waitress rarely came by the table. Food did come out in a reasonable time. May need a few more servers. That is why they didn’t score a 5 for service. I would definitely go there again.

I’m a total snob and fussy when it comes to restaurant. Visiting from NYC/WISCONSIN, and Chef and former restaurant owner here who are the hardest people to please. I walked in and the place just has a good vibe. The bar was full of regular patrons, the bartender and customers smiled at me when we entered. The hostess and our waitress were incredible. She offered us happy hour drinks- and the kind of waitress (Wendy?) that you can just trust. That’s how the whole place felt. The food was delicious, the service was the kind you’d expect at grandmas house. Showered with love. Anyway- great place for fish and chips- and my dad had the pasty which was broccoli chicken served with creamy mashed potatoes. The wedge salad- extra creamy blue cheese dressing! What a great meal made even better by customer service. I watched the restaurant operate like a well oiled machine. Thank you!

We had a really good lunch today. The food was great, and pretty authentic. Great beer list, including several British beers on tap. The service was outstanding – very attentive and making sure we had anything we needed. Also, they call it cottage pie when it’s made with beef! Thank you, lol.
