We enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. Trisha was a sweet waitress. The steak was juicy and the almond shrimp was delicious . The sweet potato casserole is a MUST have! Its super sweet so, it’s like a dessert. The white chocolate cheesecake and the lemon cake wasn’t the best. Overall a great spot.

This is the best briquettes they’ve opened so far, it was pretty busy though on the weekends and you can expect a wait of an hour or longer, but that’s only on the weekends. The food was really good and the waitresses and chefs were very accommodating. I highly recommend this place as a great steakhouse in saraland.

Very nice addition to the Saraland area. This location differs in price and food quality than the location in Mobile. The food is fantastic. The steak was cooked perfectly, the burgers never disappoint, and the strawberry chicken salad was amazing.
The atmosphere is very clean and styled nicely. The outdoor seating is perfect for a quiet and intimate dinner.
I would not recommend large groups come to this location. There is no accommodation for groups of 8+ people or more. One of the times I went, we were placed in a room with 4 circular tables where we could not all sit together.
Wait times were about an hour for the party of 10 at 7PM.
For a party of 3 at 5:15PM, the wait time was about 30 minutes.

I recently placed a to-go order at Briquettes, and unfortunately there was a mix-up when my husband picked it up. He didn’t check the order before leaving and ended up paying for someone else’s food — typical husband moment . When we realized the mistake and contacted the restaurant, the manager, Jennifer, was extremely apologetic and professional. She immediately took ownership of the issue and replaced the order without hesitation, which I truly appreciated. Her customer service and attitude were outstanding, and I want to make sure that recognition is given where it’s due.
That said, while I was grateful for the replacement, the food quality was disappointing. I ordered three steaks cooked medium well, and unfortunately all three were significantly overcooked and very dry. It was clear they had gone well past medium well, which affected the overall enjoyment of the meal. I understand that mistakes can happen, especially during busy times, but consistency in food quality is important, particularly for steak.
Based on my experiences overall, the Montlimar location has consistently delivered the best food quality and seems to be the most reliable when it comes to proper cooking and consistency. I wanted to share this feedback honestly — not to complain, but to give balanced input. I truly appreciate Jennifer’s professionalism and willingness to correct the initial issue, and I hope this feedback helps improve consistency moving forward.

Newly opened recently. Pleasantly surprised at how lovely the place is and how organized. The staff was very friendly helpful and attentive. In addition my food was delicious and served very timely. Looking forward to my next visit!

Very average food and service. Prices are not bad so its ok place to eat. Steaks aren’t outstanding but good. Not bad for a local spot. Fried green tomatoes were average. Baked potato a little small and a tad under cooked. Nice atmosphere but service needs a lot of work. Had to wait 15 minutes even with open tables. Ok place for the price.
